Dr. John Evan Tower, DO

Dr. Tower provides excellent information, guidance and care.

I had been seeing Dr. Tower for several years for lupus, and received excellent care. Unfortunately, that all fell apart when I developed a second autoimmune disease and had to see his partner. He misdiagnosed my condition as a pulled muscle in my shoulder, in spite of the fact that I told him I had progressive weakness that started in one leg, moved to another, and then began effecting my arms. I begged for lab work, as I suspected it was a systemic problem. He did order the lab work, but then ignored the results. When I saw them on-line, I begged the staff several times to discuss them with Dr. Tower. I sensed that the staff felt bad, but he never called me or gave me an appointment. He just called in a script for pain killers. When I finally gave up and went to the ER, the doctor that used Tower's lab results to diagnose me correctly within 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the delay by Tower's office allowed increased muscle deterioration, and I ended up missing 5 months of work.

Horrible doctor. Doctor Tower did not show any care towards me as a patient and seemed to dismiss my case. He told me if I'm in a lot of pain I should be in the emergency room, not his office. He was very dismissive and disrespectful towards me. I will never go back to this doctor!
