I implore you people. Whatever you do, do not go to this man. I had to explain to his nurse TWICE on the phone how to do a Cortisol Bloodwork. I have severe Adrenal Deficiency and spent 2 years working with doctors at Columbia University on this. I've done this Bloodwork many times I could do it in my sleep. You could GOOGLE this information and know what you're doing in 5 minutes! The fact that I had to tell him what to do, and he STILL didn't get it, was extremely scary. I had made the decision to leave before I even hung the phone up. A patient instructing his doctor how to properly do something because he's completely clueless? Learn from my experience folks. Stay away from this incompetence.

I've visited Dr. Boxer for years. I find him to be thoughtful and intelligent. He does not rush into a decision and is not quick to provide drugs to mask symptoms. Rather, he attempts to get to the cause and fix that. I'm 56 years old and I highly recommend this Doctor and this is based on years of being under his care.

Very hard to get an appointment with him because of his popularity. May have alien visions halfway through visit but otherwise very professional!

Very sad that a doctor with such a lack of patient understanding and medical knowledge could still be in practice. Patient beware if you want to get better, seek another doctor immediately.

He's very nice, smart and good bedside manner. He is conservative with his approach, but will use appropriate medicines and run tests when needed but not pushy. He takes your concerns into consideration but goes step by step process of illimination to minimize the number of tests so you aren't just throwing money away. Fairly easy to get an appointment wait times are usually not too bad....

Dr. Boxer is a fine person who remembers his patients, is gentle, kind and thorough. Although he is younger than I am, he reminds me of the friendly doctor I had as a child.

He is very concerned and knowledgeable. Helped me tremendously. Has a wonderful front office staff. The nurses are wonderful especially in the coumidin section.

Go elsewhere. He brushed off my symptoms as 'stress', threw steroids at my backache. Turned out to be kidney related, one minor/one major surgeries later and my life is back on track due to 2 OTHER good doctors. Dr. Boxer's lack of concerned cost me months of painful time. Not stellar.

Never worked a day in his life. No bed side manner. Never recommends anything stronger than tylenol. Had severe bronchitis a year ago and he brushed me off completely.thank god I went to a pulmonary specialist or I would be dead right now. The worst doctor I have ever met profesionaly Not a bad guy personally. But not compassionate enough to be a good doctor.
