Dr. Jose Julio Malagon, MD

I saw Dr. Malagon one time & that was one too many. My regular Dr. was (at that time) in the same practice but wasn’t able to see me that day so they offered me Dr. Malagon. I went in because I knew I was developing bronchitis (I’ve had it enough times to know my symptoms) and all he wanted to do want discuss a prescription medication that I take that my usual Dr. prescribes for me for a condition that has zero to do with bronchitis & had absolutely nothing to do with the reason I was there. I kept telling him that I was there to get treatment for bronchitis that was developing but he literally just did not want to address it & only wanted to discuss his opinion on the medication my usual Dr. had prescribed. It was like he had blinders on and couldn’t hear what I was saying. I left in disbelief and he did nothing for my bronchitis so I left his office & ended up at a walk in clinic. The next time I saw my usual Dr. I told her about his behavior & she was not happy. Do yourself a huge… favor and don’t let Dr. Malagon be your “Dr.”!

Incredible group of experts. The nurses and receptionists all will remember you by name and treat you like a friend. They are all very understanding and make you feel as if you are being treated by people who truly care for you. Dr. Malagon treats my entire family and myself, and we have never had a less than stellar experience. He is an incredible listener and will always take even your smallest concerns seriously. He has an incredible talent at analyzing your entire lifestyle (diet, exercise,stress,etc) to help you to live your most healthy life and get to the root of whatever issues you may be having. The cherry on top is the practice’s beautiful location along the clinch river. The offices have a great view of the water, and you will often spot many ducks, geese, squirrels, and birds while waiting to see your physician.

Dr. Malagon truly cares about all aspects of his patients and spends time with them. He never talks down to them and always considers their feelings and opinions when recommending treatment options. All doctors should learn from this man when it comes to treating patients with kindness and care.

Caring and Knowledgeable. Called home a few days later to check on how I was doing.
