Saved my life at my first visit !!!

Staff will not fill out insurance claims correctly, if at all, nor will they ever return administrative type calls. Standard response is "within 3 to 4 weeks" and then nothing is done. Office Manager's name is Maria Castellanos. Doctor is pleasant, but is very negative about the patient asking specifc treatment questions.

A bit of a wait but excellent service.

Every time I have an appointment I end up waiting for an hour to see the doctor. It is VERY rude to expect patients to wait this long. Time for a new doctor.

Great diagnostician with a great disposition

The staff of Dr. Castellanos is the most impolite, uncivil and lying staff I have ever encountered. For the past 5 days I have asked them numerous times do get the doctor to fill out medical forms from my automobile insurance that were send to his office from my insurance company. To me and to my insurance company they continue to either lie about having received the forms or giving us the run around we will get to it if we get around to it. When asked to speak to the doctor directly because of the urgency of possible loosing insurance coverage I typically get the answer, the doctor is busy and can not take your call. Since I can not get to the doctor directly I have to assume that this happens without him knowing about it.

Dr. Castellanos is a good doctor, but I have a hard time believing he is unaware of how mean and uncaring his staff is. The person that called me to give me my "diagnosis" did not even know how to say the Doctor's name. And yet she was delivering to me medical information. She was condescending and rude, not to mention ignorant in her relaying of the information to me. When you call the office to talk to someone, you rarely get a call back, and there is NO WAY to speak to the doctor. I asked for the DOCTOR to call me back, and it took about 5 days. By then, I'd been through the ringer with his nasty, unprofessional staff and I'd just had it. I felt like they were in uninterested in helping me with my concerns or questions about the medical diagnosis and with my questions about insurance. They staff does not understand how insurance works, and actually seems to work AGAINST patients in order to have them pay more than they need to. I will find another doctor. A good doctor… might be hard to find, but there's no sense going to a doctor if his staff is going to make you sicker than you felt going in there.

I like Dr. Castellanos. He's pleasant and thorough. BUT I can't get a callback from his office staff. Ever.
