Dr. Joseph A Scalia, DO

Had severe stomach pain and lost 15 pounds he asked if I had an eating disorder and a virus. Turns out I had a stomach ulcer and strep which landed me in the hospital. Neither of which he tried to help or properly test or refer me out for.

Wonderful place people are always very friendly and caring doctor is always professional and polite

by far the worst doctor i have ever been to.. unprofessional doesn't care about anything but the money... would never in my life recommend anyone go see him.. GO ANYWHERE ELSE

Ive been suffering with abdominal pain for years under Dr Scalia. He would see me for 5-10 minutes write me a prescription then run out. I visited him about five times regarding this. I recently got fed up and got a second opinion. Within two weeks my new doctor ordered a CT scan and showed probable IBD. This is dangerous and has caused me an immense amount of pain and anxiety. When I asked recently for a referral for a CT scan he said he didn't see the point. This has costed me my job and two years of my life. Beware.

Doctor is horrible and always rushes either myself or husband during visits. Doctor not very thorough. He does not show very must interest in his patients. The young lady at the front desk with the long dark hair is very rude and she really is not to knowledgeable about her job!!! Don't go there horrible Doctor and staff!!!!!

receptionist is so polite and helpful, dr takes his time, hes not just trying to get you in and out quickly. There was almost no wait time and I was able to fill out new patient paperwork online before my apt to save time. Great office.

Great place to for your medical needs

I've never had to wait too long to see the doctor and he always makes sure to answer all my questions before he leaves.

Works to ease appointments schedules with slight impact on promptness. Staff members seem courteous and responsive. A polite young man familiar with controlled substance issues and whom pays personal attention to patient needs. Waiting time generally is quick, but scheduling flexibility and his personal attention may extend waiting periods for which I readily accept. A good doctor.
