Dr. Joseph A Cappa, MD

was in hospital and never got to see him and never got any responses from him, needed a follow up could not get in to see him at all, had to see PA all the time , I was very sick in hospital for 2 weeks called his office to try to speak to him never got in touch with me, Was my doctor for my many years. Didn't know what was going with me , no answers . I would not recommend him if you have a serious problem, you would never get into see him if you needed to, you would always see a PA which didn't know anything that was going with me. I was told he doesn't do hospital visits . terrible experience.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Cappa after my primary care physician failed to listen to my concerns. I was having stomach pain, bloating and nausea after I ate. My primary care doctor said it was stress (which I knew wasn't correct), but Dr. Cappa did more digging and found I had a large ulcer and am lactose intolerant. I really appreciate that Dr. Cappa listened to my concerns and went the extra mile. I am feeling much better now. In addition, Dr. Cappa has a great personality that really puts you at ease. I felt like he really took the time to get to know me. Now, if only I could find a primary care doctor like him!
