Dr. Joseph Anthony Giaimo,D.O., P.A. FCCP, FACO, DO

I was in the PBG MED ER on the Friday of a Holiday weekend with what I imagined was a recurring serious Bacterial Lung Infection, little did I know it there was much more going on in my lungs. Dr G come in leaving his young family and was most kind, caring and professional. He immediately did what was a very invasive procedure ONE I knew was a challenge and would be diagnostic. His quick action, decisivness put me on the road to a recovery albeit with a hospital stay and much medication. I love a dr who knows what to do and does it! Especially with kindness and compassion.

I worked for Dr Giaimo many years ago and remember him being very caring and compassionate with his patients. Since I changed careers and no longer work for him, I found myself needing a pulmonologist for 2 of my immediate family members! My mother-in-law who has severe emphysema and my father-in-law who had bilateral lung cancer. I did have to think twice about who I wanted on their case. No matter what time of day or night, or how busy Dr Giaimo was he was there for us and worked endlessly to help them both manage their disease. My mother-in-law is stable and living life as well as she can, unfortunately my father-in-law passed away. Dr Giaimo is smart, caring, compassionate and very professional!

This is a good Dr. his staff is the absolute worse I have ever seen in a medical practice. They raise their voices at patients, argue on end and treat you terribly. They are unable to take an updated medication list, rather they lazily refuse to. Unable to make appts. as when they do and you arrive she (D. so called office mgr) so obnoxiously tells you you don’t have an appt. today. The Dr must’ve said yes he would see me, next she tells me I should be thanking her for getting me in. What ? And she repeated just as rude as could be, acting that that’s just fine. Much more.. don’t do it. I have been a patient of Dr Giamo for many yrs. No one should ever be treated this way, especially as a patient. I have personal made more than 2 attempts to relay this to him.

My dad moved here from NJ and needed to be cleared for a biopsy. Dr. Giaimo and his entire staff worked with us to make sure every test, compliance, and radiology need was met!! They are all a pleasure to deal with and have a smile. The whole office is organized and works with their patients. They have their policies and procedures which are put in place for all of this wonderful and pleasant service to occur!! We are very pleased and thankful for the care! We look forward to continued care with Dr. Giaimo and his entire office.

want to waste your time? go to this office, you'll honestly wait for almost an hour to see the doctor and he will see you just for 5 seconds, plus he will give you expired samples, the staff is horrible

Never had issues with scheduling appointments, treatment, or medications. Dr. Giaimo is a very good lung doctor!

Dr. Joe is an excellent physician with a great bed-side manner. I come to see the doctor, not to be coddled by his office stay. Would recommend highly.

Dr Giamo has been our Dr for several years. He is genially concerned about our health and well being, and always addresses our concerns. His staff are all very courteous and extremely helpful.

The rudest and most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with from a medical professional. I should have read others experiences here and health grades. They are so spot on.

Office staff rude and uncooperative. No empathy towards patients. Orders test not necessary. Saw Dr. For 4 minutes.
