I do hope he comes back to Cleveland some day

I went to dr ross for 20 years, im now lost without him it will take a long time if ever to find someone like him. he did surgery on my eye and now I dont need glasses I can watch tv without any on. he was kind and thoughtful man. he has moved away and I havenot been to anyone since.

I have been a patient of Envision for 3 yrs. The office staff are friendly, the work up staff are very thorough and knowledgeable. My examination with Dr. Ross was excellent. He answered all my questions, took his time and I never felt rushed. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Ross is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He is very professional and takes time to explain any questions that I have regarding my visits. I have been a patient of his since 1992 and am very pleased with his professionalism. He has been voted one of America’s Most Compassionate Doctors, voted as one of America’s top surgeons, voted as one of the top Ophthalmolgists in the Nation consecutively year after year, and for more than ten years straight. He has worked at a Level One Trauma Center for more than twenty years and has given back by training residents to follow in his footsteps—for more than twenty years too. We, as patients, are fortunate to have him available to us here in Florida.

I had been looking for an ophthalmologist to diagnose a problem that I have had for twelve years. I have been to 8 different doctors only for them to tell me nothing was wrong. You know yourself better than anyone and I knew something wasn't right. I explained my plight to him and the fact that everyone told me I was fine. Very compassionate and informative. He looked at my eyes and found the problem immediately. I was vindicated...and sane. I am so happy I found this doctor. I understand why he is ranked among top doctors. He is AMAZING!

Went through pain and disfigurement for 3 months for eye duct surgery which he guaranteed would be 100 percent successful. He says it was successful. It didn't work!!!!!!' One eye stopped dripping but other one just drips all The time just like before the surgery. Yet he says it was successful yeah right

My mother had Dr Ross do her cataract surgery- should have been straight forward. But he removed her stitches too soon, so she then got a detached retina and choroidal detachment. Two horrific surgeries later (of course by a different dr) she still barely sees out of that eye. She was told she could have lost the whole eye. Dr Ross's recklessness is inexcusable.

Dr. Ross has treated me and my family for over twenty years. He has an excellent bedside manner and is extremely knowledgeable about eyes and facial plastics. He has done facial plastics on my father to repair drooping lower lids and a severe tearing problem. The results were excellent. My mother had cataract surgery with an upgraded multifocal lens and she is seeing 20/10 which is better than 20/20. My mother is very happy to have her vision back. My sister had lasik and at 50 is still not wearing glasses. Her lasik was performed over ten years ago. I have gone to Dr. Ross myself since 1993. My eyesight is great but if I ever do have a problem I know who to go to. I know why he is voted by his patients to be one of America's Most Compassionate Doctor's because he truly is a kind person. I wish all doctors were as caring. If you are considering him as your doctor, I doubt you would be unhappy. Even his peers have voted him as one of America's Best Doctor Doctors and America's… Top Ophthalmolgists each year since at least 2008. He is a great choice.

He seemed more interest in his ability to earn a fee than the patient's need for any treatment

Dr. Ross is an Excellent doctor and surgeon. I did a lot of research before going to him. He is ranked as one of America's top doctors, multiple years, 2008-2011. The reason that I felt that this was important was because you can only achieve this honor by being chosen by your peers (other doctors). The criteria for nomination is for doctors to choose other doctors that you would go to yourself or to whom you would send a family member. I think when other doctors choose him as a doctor that they would go to that speaks volumes. I have had eye problems for over thirty years and have been to many doctors. Hands down he is the best doctor that I have ever been to. If you are looking for a doctor with a great bedside manner and who listens to your concerns, then he is excellent.
