Dr. Joseph Love performed a total hysterectomy on me due to a prolapse. The experience was wonderful! The initial visit was informative and pleasant. Dr. Love spends as much time as necessary for you to understand the process. It is rare these days to see that level of care, sincere interest in a client, and attention. Both my husband and I were treated with respect and given the opportunity to make an informed decision. I was surprised to receive a call the evening before the surgery and had a strong sense of support and care. He came in before he started the surgery and talked to my husband after with instructions and encouragement. I believe that approach helps a husband too - giving him the understanding of the needs of a woman and the importance of the recovery time in her life. Dr. Love is by far the best doctor I have ever had. He not only makes you feel comfortable, he makes you feel well taken care of. All of concerns are normally addressed before I’m even able to come up with the question myself. He has always been in a great mood and not once made me feel like I was taking up too much his time. He makes himself available for questions outside appointments and walked me through some very emotionally difficult procedures and topics with ease. Dr. Love has a cult following in the Birmingham/Bloomfield area. I have a beautiful girl Chloe that he made possible. 4 doctors told me I could only have a hysterectomy. I had a 5 hour surgery with Dr. Love. He removed 11 fibroids and I got pregnant in 2 months after 5 years of infertility. I could just cry. Thank you and I love Dr. Love.

I had a diagnosis of cancer. Dr Love explained everything thoroughly and performed the surgery. It is now 6 years later, and I am still cancer-free! Thank you Dr Love. : )
