Dr. Joy Carol Burbeck, MD

I initially saw Dr. Burbeck after a stay in the hospital. I though her concern was on par with the pulmonary doctors I saw in the hospital. I was impressed. For my follow up visit, I arrived at 9:30 am for a 10:00am appointment per the request from scheduling. I was taken back about 9:45 and completed my breathing test and placed back in the exam room 5 waiting to now see Dr. Burbeck. From 10:00am until 11:00 am she did not appear. No one came in to say she may running late due to an emergency or something came up. No information. I decided my time was not important to this doctor and I left. I try to sat my agenda to all I need to do for the day. Starting my day at 9:30 arriving would have assured me to be leaving her office no later than 10:30. It was only a follow up. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Anything I can't stand is anyone wasting my time unnecessarily.

When I saw Dr Burbeck and a fellow she was training, she laughed and made fun of me. I will not see her again even if I was dying.

Doctor Joy Burbeck knows how to get you better. She knows what combination of meds to get you felling better and breathing better. She listens to you and addresses all your medical concerns. Also, Great bedside manner. I recommend Dr. Burbeck to everyone. Love Her

caring kind and considerate- took the time to really help our mother.

No doubt this is one of the best physicians in the Mid South!!! She spent time with me and wrote in her own hand the plan I needed to follow to help my asthma improve. I have always had doctors say that I need to do something but they've never laid it out the way she did. Very very grateful!!! Her office staff is phenomenal and very caring as well!!!
