Dr. Katrina Dionne Baker, MD

I started seeing Dr. Baker about 9 years ago for irregular and very painful menstrual cycles and she was wonderful and caring at first. But over the years it seemed like she paid less and less attention to my medical needs or I would be seen by the NP and she could never remember what I was being seen for. The office staff is extremely rude and calling the office is frustrating because I would always get put on hold and the call would drop. I've stopped coming to this provider when I realized that no one wanted to do their job and help me out now I have another provider who instantly found what was wrong. I highly recommend not wasting your time at this office!

They are rude and heartless. In the 3 yeats i was going there no one listened or cared what bc i wanted and i had a miscareage because i got pregnant on bc they recommend and then they made me pay before i was seen even though i had no money and it was there fault and my insurance covered it but it was there choice to charge before or later but i was forced to pay. The staff is beyond rude its just not worth comming here go somewhere else. The wait time about 2hrs.

Doctor Baker is the most compassionate doctor I've ever been too! She's always on time and makes you feel super comfortable.. The staff is also absolutely awesome

Office staff does not communicate with each other. No follow ups after appointments.

We recently had our fourth baby and had such a great experience that we wanted to write a review to help anyone looking for a great obgyn. Avoiding unnecessary induction or c-section was something really important to us so we spent a lot of time researching who would be the best Dr. for our family. Especially since our three other children were all born past their due dates, and perfectly healthy, but larger than average size. There were so many positive reviews about Dr Baker that we wanted to talk with her, but I was concerned that she might not be supportive of natural birth because she specializes in high risk pregnancies. I met with her anyways, and am so glad that I did. She did a great job listening to our concerns, and expressed support for our plan for an all natural childbirth. I loved her warn personality and that she really took time each visit to answer any questions that I had, and offer advice to help relieve some of the discomforts that I was experiencing. I also… appreciated that all of her staff were professional and courteous. Some weeks there was a bit of a wait, but that is the nature of seeing any obgyn, and if Dr. Baker was out for a delivery the front staff was really good about letting the patients know in case they wanted to reschedule. As the pregnancy progressed I really appreciated the time she took to go over our birth-plan, and that she did not push for induction when baby was healthy but taking her time join us. Finally at 41 weeks one day Alice decided to make her appearance, in her own time, and her own way. Holding our sweet new little baby we were overcome with love, and so thankful that we found such a wonderful obgyn who really cares for her patient, and their well being. Based on her experience and knowledge as well as great bedside manor we would definitely recommend her to our friends and family.

I would definitely recommend dr baker to anyone who needs a grey obgyn, I was very afraid to go for a gynecological procedure and dr Baker was very caring and understanding and made me feel like I was in good hands and that she genuinely cares and that was very important for me being so afraid to even go to the appt.

I had never been to this office until I was told by my family doctor I was pregnant after having an ultrasound done for a different reason. I had a nice wait most times but other times not so bad. She did great at answering my questions and when finding out my daughter was breech had me set up for a c-section 2 days later. the surgery was great and it was my first one ever. She came in and checked on me everyday and asked me when I would like to go home and we made a compromise. She then saw me for my postnatal appointment and was suprised at my healing process. I recommend her to anyone. I have had worst waits at other offices with not as many paitents.

Surgery was elected after weighing the odds, and Dr. Baker was most professional and very intelligent. Did not rush any appointments I had and I will look forward to seeing her again for yearly checkups. Of course there is a wait for appointments, but never have I been to an OB/GYN that I did not have to wait - it is the nature of the specialty.

I've heard that this office has a long wait time, and yep, it does. For my first visit, I came about 15 minutes early to fill in paperwork. My appointment was for 215. I did not see the doctor until after 315. Very long wait. I'm not sure yet how she is on diagnosis, but we shall see.

Dr. Baker was very friendly and made me feel comfortable during my visit. She works quickly, but effectively. I would recommend her.
