Dr. Kay Kourounis David, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kay’s for the past 20 years. I was blessed to have her deliver my baby this past March. She was available for me at all times during my high risk pregnancy. She truly goes above and beyond.

Dr. Kourounis is one of the best doctors I have ever had in my life. She cares so much for her patients, intently listens at every visit, and is so knowledgeable that she always puts you at ease. I have been a patient of hers for almost 20 years.

Dr. Kay is the best doctor I have ever had. She is helpful and kind. On a very busy day for her, she was still willing to make the time to see me on that day. She cares about her patients and is willing to go above and beyond to help. Dr. Kay is an outstanding doctor. I am deeply grateful and appreciate her great kindness.

Dr. Kay is an amazing doctor. She is the gold standard for all medical professionals in my opinion.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Dr. Kay Kourounis asked me to reschedule my appointment and come in her office at the same day. I made it and had to leave my work. When I arrived at her office for an initial consultation, Dr. Kay Kourounis made my visit extremely miserable for me as a 8 month pregnant woman. She is high tempered, completely not respectful and out of her control that is unprofessional. She seems insane. She was seeing me first time and offering me a planned C-section. I refused it and pointed that different providers didn't advise it to me. Also I mentioned that this is a major surgery and only for medical reasons. She told me that she doesn't care about "stupid fuc..g woman". I offered her to record her words, after that she ran away. At the end I was threatened by to call the POLICE when I was trying to get Dr's note for my employer. I left office crying and very stressed out. I have never seen such terrible mistreatment of patients. Looked at reviews and it is not only me who… had such a bad experience. Be cautious! you don't want to deal with a person who is trying to take an advantage on you! Don't recommend her!

I have been with Dr. Kourounis since she started with Dr. Faulkner. I absolutely LOVE her. I never thought I would ever like a doctor as much as Dr. Faulkner, but I do. The only reason I saw her for an appointment in the beginning was because Faulkner was booked so to get in earlier I say Dr. Kourounis and I have been seeing her ever since. 2 pregnancies and 1 miscarriage and now soon starting menopause. Love her.

I’ve been going to this office since I’ve been 14. I’m overall very disappointed in the lack of care in this practice. Let’s Start: 1.) While waiting for my annual, I overhead Dr. Kourounis complaining (unprofessionally) to her nurse how “she can’t stand it with these people anymore.” Not a way you should being talking about patients with other patients around in my opinion. 2.) My mother met with Dr. Kourounis for an endocervical scraping and told her that “it wouldn’t hurt” before the procedure - anyone who has had this procedure can attest otherwise. 3.) I was having a health issue recently and had to call this office three times to be seen for follow-up due to their incompetence to diagnosis me accurately - after making the appointment, I had to cancel while on my way because Dr. Kourounis had a prior engagement and the staff didn’t provide enough time for her to meet with me. 4.) Whenever I met with Dr. Kourounis, she had a “one and done” kind of attitude and lacked bedside… manner in any regard. After a decade of experience as a patient, my impression of Dr. Kourounis and her practice is that she is simply the type who attended medical school for the salary, lifestyle, and prestige that is associated with being a doctor - not because she actually cares about the health of her patients. I changed practices today and I recommend seeing someone else.

Dr. Dohr has been my OB Dr. for the last 18 years. Met her when I got pregnant, she was in a practice with 5-6 other doctors but she was the only one I wanted to have deliver my daughter, and she did. I recommend her to everyone that is looking for an OB Doc. She is an amazing lady, compassionate, caring, gentle, and up to date on all the new tests and ensures that everything is ok before leaving you in the room. She is a fast talker, but if asked to repeat or slow down it will happen. If a patient needs special attention she is willing to provide it and spend some extra time with them. Being pregnant is stressful enough on a new mom so I don't ever get stressed when I have an appointment, I am not pregnant, but I understand that in this specialty, there are times when your going to have to wait a bit before she can get to you. I respect that and I respect her.
