Dr. Kelley Jayne Parnell, MD

have been seen many neurologist and failed diagnosed until my last hope to have Kelly Parnell able to diagnose whatever what is wrong with me. I suffered serious symptoms. I saw her today, her approach shows little tense to me. I have been bad experiences with many neurologists negatives approached toward to me. I was hoping she could try to figure it out and help me what is wrong. she could give me different test , I asked if I could have another MRI at theirs because I heard their MRI is best and high technology than others when I had them . she said No, you had too many tests and I asked her," why I have a difficult walking , symptoms and suffering.". she said," I don't know but it is not my neurology," she did not give a try to help me, she just read my medical records from my other neurologists and dismissed me. I kept myself silent and didn't want to cry front of her and my interpret which I am deaf. I am really want to able walk again. I scare for my life. I drove four hours… both ways with no diagnosed and dismissed me again. I'm dismayed and cried. I do not want to put negative feedback but I am being honest.

Let me tell you my experience with Dr. Kelley Parnell. I can sum it up with two simple words. Medical Gaslighting! I cannot begin to tell you how awful it felt to be ill and not be heard. My visit with Dr. Parnell was very traumatizing, and I refuse to ever see this physician again.

Very professional but also friendly

Not empathetic at all…. Did order an MRI but wouldn’t meet to go over results… Just sent an email stating results were normal and considered benign, which they aren’t. Trashed me personally in her report

She prides herself as being very knowledgeable, but yet failed to diagnose me with a common vitamin deficiency. Refused to order bloodwork. She told me it was all in my head, and suggested I get some mental health treatment. Outright lied and documented in my medical record things she said that I said. Never happened and she knows it. I feel it was a way of retaliating against me because I did not agree with her. Desperate for help I went to see a different doctor which did order blood tests. I was diagnosed correctly during my first visit. I was able to correct my vitamin deficiency, my symptoms have resolved and I am doing well now.

Cold, arrogant, aggressive doctor who has zero compassion for those who are suffering. She did me more harm than good and now I am dealing with the aftermath. She could care less.

Terrible. Could have stayed home . Asked me if I was ok . Then I don’t need to see you in 1or2 yrs That was the it ,walked out . I’m flexible,nonjudgmental person . I don’t want to see another patient who needs more time get a visit like that I don’t need much time but there are plenty out there that do

My son has slight anxiety about seeing Drs. She made him feel more at ease. Dr. Parnell also made sure our questions were answered and felt comfortable with the plan going forward.

I was referred to Kelley after my regular provider left. She did not not accurately listen to the description of my symptoms and actions. In her notes and referral, she made noted statements that were the exact opposite of the information I provided. She made a referral for an incorrect topic. She often cut me off and asdf. She seems like she has expertise, but could not be bothered to accurately listen to my experiences. She jumped to conclusions and heard what she expected, not what I said. When she spoke she seemed knowledge abut I have zero confidence in her medical direction as the her notes and referrals indicate she did not pay attention to the information provided.

Dr. Parnell is an intelligent, outside-of-the-box thinker, who tells it like it is. She has helped me since coming to WI from out of state after a TBI and the records were lost by a local hospital here. She is kind and thoughtful and listens to concerns. Her staff is wonderful too. I recommend her without hesitation and would gladly take any family member to see her should the need arise.
