Dr. Kelvin Leban Walls, MD

Dr. Walls has performed surgery on my son, my husband and myself. He is the best there is. He cares about his patients and it shows. His bedside manner is to be learned from. He greets with a smile and assures you that everything will be okay and trust me that is not an easy thing to do with my anxiety! He is honest and straight forward which is something I admire in a doctor. I trust him with my family and know that I am in good hands.

Dr Walls performed surgery for a nasal polyp removal. From my first visit to the surgery Dr. Walls’ bedside manner was just amazing. His skills impressed me. He is soft spoken, so kind and has a sense of humor. I had other doctors who could not diagnose me for over a year, and within 2 minutes he made a definite diagnosis. I highly recommend Dr. Walls!

A true gentleman and a great Dr.

I found Dr Walls very kind to me, I thought his bedside manner was very good. He also thanked me for letting him treat me. That impressed me alot.

Horrible bedside manner, never returns phone calls. Dr Walls has done 3 surgeries for me, and 1 I believe he scared me into, Doesnt give you all the details and post surgery not good at all. He actually told me I was recovering from surgery not sick after I basically went to office because I couldnt get a return phone call after surgery. Side effects were scary and he told me to call primary dr that he was an ent.... he performed surgery he should handle post surgery as well.... would very highly reccomend not using this doctor!!! Waiting time for appointments was always at least 1 hour

I should have known not to have him do my surgery when another doctor rolled their eyes when they found out who was going to perform. His bedside manner is less than desirable. He never visited with my family to tell them any recovery suggestions. I was never informed whether or not I needed to follow up with him at a later time. His staff never returns my phone calls and I finally end up walking back into his office just to get someone to see me and talk to me. It is horrible! I wouldn't send anyone to see Dr. Walls.

After waiting 45 mins for Dr. Walls to come to check on my 4 1/2 year old son, he spent four minutes with me and walked out of the office without checking for my understanding, or addressing my issues. He possibly recommended part of a surgery he already performed and neglected to address other problems. I have never felt so insignificant and direspected by a physician. I would not recommend Dr. Walls for any patients let alone a child who is developing physically.

My son had his tonsils out. A week later he started bleeding in the middle of the night. We called the agter hours numbers after trying to get the bleeding to stop. When Dr. Walls did call back he said he would meet us at the ER. This was 4:30 in the morning. The bleeding was getting worse as we went ot the ER. We told the ER physcian that we had called Dr. Walls. He called Dr. Walls too and he said he would come. My son kept losing large amount of blood due to vessel eruption in the back of his throat. I kept demanding that the ER do something. They told me they called Dr. Walls but didn't know what was talking him so long. Long story short when Dr. Walls came at 9:30 am with no explanation of to why he took so long. The OR room had filled three tubs with blood, it was all over the floor, he had filled two basins adn more. My son lost so much blood that he was blue and ash white that he lost conscienceness. As soon as he got the bleeding to stop he was wallking out the… door. I asked him should we check his blood count he's lost a lot of blood. His comment was he'll be find. One week late while out of town it ruptured again this time the blood lose was quicker and heavier. The hospital called in their ER doctor who got him into surgery right away just taking one look at him. They checked everything and surgical fixed the vessels in his throat as well as in his back nose area. They bumped his stomach because there was so much blood just like before. Unlike before this time they check his hemoglobin levels and gave him 3 blood transfusion because he had lost so much blood. That hospital out of town and the doctors were awesome they saved his life. If we had had to wait the second time for Dr. Walls to show up 4 hours later our son would of been dead. I wouldn't recommend a dying dog to this doctor especially during the night because it might interupt his sleep in which case the dog would die any way.
