did surgery on me , due to a workers comp injury and after surgery and after he got his money, tried to get rid of me as soon as possible. A wolf in sheep's clothing

I have been a patient since 1993. As a result of a car wreck and surgery by another neurosurgeon, Dr. Lipow needed to "repair" and fuse my neck in a surgery that exceeded 9 hours. During the many pre-op visits, Dr. Lipow went above and beyond, what most would consider reasonable. He thoroughly answered my questions, laid my fears to rest and was always accessible through the months of recovery. In 2012, I needed a second surgery to repair an injury to my lower back (altercation with 2 large dogs.) I had waited far too long to see the doctor and knew I was in trouble (in addition to severe pain, I was experiencing serious nerve related symptoms). I saw Dr. Lipow on a Tuesday and he was able to do the surgery the following Monday. True to his word, I woke up feeling better than I had in months. I have recommended many friends and colleagues over the years, some needed surgery and some were urged not, but ALL walked away secure in the knowledge they were in the hands of an… accomplished, outstanding physician.

Had a horrible experience with this man. He let bloodclots go undetected for 7 days and ruined my moms legs after knowing she was high risk for them.

Dr Lipow, Is a great Dr. who takes time to explain your condition. Dr Lipow will review with you any C-scan, X-ray or MRI's that you may have. His staff is caring and Dr Lipow, Is a great Dr. who takes the time to explain your condition. I am very glad that I saw Dr Lipow and had three surgeries in the past 2 years for different problems. Thank you Dr for making my life worth living again.

diagnosis for c5 c6 surgery due to a work injury, after which I still have pain and headaches numbness and tingling and it is 1 year 8 mos later. sent to a pain mgmt doctor,many neck shots later,condition the same. he never told me what was causation of pain. and thinks i can return to work. found out thru pain mgmt doctor i have nerve problems.they want to install a neurostimulator in my back to confuse the nerve path and signals to my brain, Not sure what to do? The staff is good,aftercare and communication with dr. very dissapointing! be cautious and ask alot of questions, do your research and weigh your options. surgery may only partially help. signed, still hurting.

I found Dr. Lipow and his staff (Chris Dall) particularly attentive to your comfort and recovery. Information and communication was plentiful and my surgery was a complete success.

Dr. Lipow has been my Dr. since 2006, and he is one of the best Dr I have seen. I have had 3 back surgeries and with each visit he was honest and real with me. He did not operate until it was nessary and would advice me to try other treatments before surgery was an option. He sits down with you at every visit and answers EVERY question you and/or your loved one may have. The amount and information he gives his clients is more then any Doctor I have come in contact with. He is truly one of the best Doctors in America and while he can be stubburn at times (lol) he is with good reason and respect. If you truly want the best opinion and a real straight up answer good or bad this is your doctor. He will not operate unless is nessacary and needed!
