Dr. Kenneth Olander Carter, MD

In my eight years of mainly regular with sometime occasional therapy and psychiatry treatment, Dr. Kenneth Carter is sincerely the most honest and worthwhile psychiatrist I have ever had the privilege of working with, despite the fact that his service to me was no more than a 30 minute man to man talk. Although Dr. Carter's profession is psychiatry, he spoke to me with the most realistic and beneficial choice of words for my mental health improvement. He directly pointed out the cause for my suffering without advocating medication and inpatient treatment, which even he, a psychiatrist, openly admitted is a waste of many people's time and money, all the while encouraging utmost lifestyle decisions and having a positive and objective view on life. He proved to me that he is not a legalized drug dealer, which most American psychiatrists are, and was genuinely concerned for ending my mental health issues by stressing peace, love, and forgiveness. He demonstrated to me that his mission in… life has been to save lives and make people live out to the fullest, a very important factor I seldomly see in most American "Dr."Although it has taken more than a year to get to where I am today, I am medicine free, optimistic, healthy, over employed, educated, and have made drastic improvement, and I credit that brief session that I had with this gentleman as the opening door to the end of that phase of my life that was full of hate, jealousy, and rage. I thank you, Dr, Carter, wherever you may be, and you are the best!!
