I have had Dr Kent Adkins as Specialist since 2006 and I trust him implicitly. I had a total of 3 surgeries. Each one has been a total success with complete recoveries! You couldn’t ask for a better Doctor.

Dr. Adkins is knowledgeable, thorough, and very personable which is comforting when going through a potential health crisis. I watched him hand-deliver updates to patients' families in the waiting room and he put everyone at ease. He later removed my father's bladder tumor via a TURBT procedure and my father was walking around as if nothing had happened only an hour later. What's more, Dr. Adkins was able to make an informed prediction that my father's cancer was likely low-grade based on what he saw during the procedure. We were briefed on the pathology today and it is indeed low-grade and non-muscle invasive. While my father will have to see Dr. Adkins many more times over the next few years as bladder cancer has a high rate of recurrence, I know we're in the most excellent and experienced hands. We highly recommend him!

I have been a patient of Dr Adkins for approximately 15 years. Unfortunately my body produces kidney stones like crazy so I am a “frequent flyer” here. Dr Adkins is very professional, knowledgeable and takes as much time as needed which is unusual for such a very busy doctor. My son ,daughter and stepdad are also his patients and would agree with this review.

I did not know I could expect this level of compassion from a busy surgeon. The wait time in the office was less than five minutes and the staff was so very nice and helpful. Dr. Adkins and his staff were extremely responsive in setting appointments, providing care and recognizing urgency. Their communications were thorough and all questions were answered in easy to understand terms.

Diagnosis was correct. Asked for a second opinion and was referred to a specialist at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He agreed with Dr. Adkins. Procedure was scheduled quickly and surgery was successful. Follow up care has been excellent. Dr. Adkins is caring, competent and just the best. Schedule an appt. and see for yourself. Glad I did!

As a woman Dr Adkins made me very uncomfortable! After my bladder sling I never even came back for the follow up, he creeped me out!

Dr. Adkins has help me through two kidney stones and prostrate cancel. Dr. Adkins has walk with me through some horrible times. I can't imagine going to anyone else.
