Dr. Kent Douglas Heyborne, MD

My son was born at 28 weeks SGA in 2004 due to preeclampsia. I was from Australia, had little knowledge of the US medical system and no knowledge of having a premature child! He and his team were incredible. Delivered my 1lb 11oz boy safely and he is now 16, living in Australia, doing great in school and working on his surfing skills. I cannot say enough about his team and how kind they were, along with all the nurses at Swedish Medical Centre (should out to Shelly!). I still talk about the great care and kindness that was shown by dr heyborne. I will never forget how wonderful he was and the ongoing gift I have because of him. It’s wonderful to read he’s still practising and other people have been on the receiving end of his skills and kindness.

Dr. Heyborne always takes the time to genuinely listen to all of your concerns and makes you feel as though you are his most important patient. He has an outstanding bedside manner and helps ease the tension in very stressful pregnancy situations.

Professional, kind, personable, and an expert in his field, Dr. Heyborne is an amazing perinatologist. I'm so thankful that I was recommended to his office, and was even more grateful when serious complications arose in my pregnancy that we had someone who was with us 100% of the way. The staff at the Swedish office is 1st class as well, and they treat you like family.

I went to Dr Heyborne for an emergency cerclage and my husband and I both really liked him. He listened, was considerate, great bed side manners and his staff was wonderful.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE DR HEYBORNE. I SWITCHED TO HIM FROM ANOTHER PRACTICE ON RECOMMENDATION FROM MY MOTHER OF TRIPLETS FRIEND. HE DELIVERED HER TRIPS 11 YRS AGO AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HIM. I HAD AN ABNORMAL U/S AND ULTRASCREEN ON ONE OF MY TWINS, PLUS I WILL BE 37 WHEN I DELIVER SO FELT I NEEDED MORE SPECIALIZED CARE. HE IS THE MOST CARING MAN WITH THE MOST WONDERFUL BEDSIDE MANNER, AND PUT ME AND MY HUSBAND AT EASE AFTER ALL THE STRESS/ANXIETY WE WENT THROUGH WITH THE LAST OB. I TRUST HIM TO TAKE CARE OF ME AND MY BABIES THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF MY PREGNANCY. I LOVE ALL THE OTHER STAFF TOO. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM.
