Dr. Ecklund listens to you, he wasn’t in a hurry, and he explained what my options were..ways to manage the pain, and what he could do to correct the problem. His demeanor and confidence made me feel at ease immediately.

I began my visit with Dr. Ecklund 2 years ago with a bad ache in my hip. We started out with X-rays, which didn't show anything compelling. Therapy was tried first, and finally an MRI was ordered which showed that I had a moderate stage of Avascular necrosis (AVN) which got worse as time went on. Bottom line was that I was in need of a hip replacement. I recently completed the surgery and recovery is going really well. I am walking without assistance of a cane after 3.5 weeks. The pain I experienced before is gone. During the office visits Dr. Ecklund was able to discuss in layman terms the procedure in detail and provided me with all of the time required for my questions. I never felt rushed as I have felt with other doctors. A great bedside manner and a great doctor like Kier Ecklund is hard to come by.
