Dr. Kin Yui Lam, MD

Dr. Lam saved my mother's life. The medical assistant at the home had called Dr. Lam's office staff to notify that his wife was feeling very dizzy and unconscious. He was able to walk us through our telehealth call and we ultimately found out that our mom had arrhythmia. An emergency ambulance was able to come quickly and ultimately save my mother's life. I'm so thankful for Dr. Lam's help in this situation.

I would not recommend this doctor. His receptionist is very rude and greedy. My medical insurance is united health and it is very clear that I don't need to pay co-pay for annual checkup and Dr. Lam is in the network. However, when I got to the doctor's office for routine checkup, the receptionist insisted that I had to pay co-pay. I explained to her that co-pay is not required for a routine checkup but is required for regular doctor visit. I asked her to call the insurance company but she refused.

I had great experience with Dr. Kin Lam's office. The front desk staff is very prompt and helpful. I had a afternoon appointment and was registered within 5 minutes I walked in the office. The most amazing thing is the office has a blood drawn station and equipment to help me with my blood test so I do not have to make a second trip to the laboratory to do another blood drawn. The medical assistant is very skilled and professional in my blood drawn, and it does not hurt at all. With over 30 years of experiences in internal medicine, Dr. Kin Lam diagnosed my problem very effectively and offer great medical advises. I highly recommend Dr. Lam as primary care physician to take care of me and my family members..

Doctor Lam was very patient, knowledgeable and compassionate to my care. He is to the point, able to take care of my mother's illness with no fancy tale. He is also patient and listen to my mothers problem without being judgmental. He is also very reasonable in payment and considerate of our financial situation. A good doctor that really cares about the community of the undeserved.

Dr Kin Lam is a compassionate, caring oncologist and internist. As a cancer survivor, I was being treated by Dr Lam for the past couple years. He has over 25 years of solid experience in treatment of cancer and his expertise earn him a lot of respect from his colleagues, patients and the asian community. My whole family is also taken care by Dr Lam, and they are so very happy and grateful to him.

Dr. Lam is very knowledgable and has great bedside manners, putting me and my family at ease. The wait is usually long because of his many long-time patients, so I can understand why. Overall good experiences in my many years of being his patient.

Doctor was very attentive and caring in the beginning, mainly because was a new patient. As time progressed, was less attentive and staff was very rude and inconsiderate. If you want a doctor like this to check you out, you must be crazy...like what he and his staff are calling you without any diagnosis.

The waiting is normal as in Chinatown doctor's office. However, the doctors (there are 3) are not very patience, although still considered friendly. The nurses are not very friendly. The last two time the nurse had difficulty to draw blood for blood test. That was done only after another older nurse to help out.
