Dr. Kirk Allen Nelson, DO

I cannot say enough about Dr Nelson. Such a kind and understanding physician. Honestly CARES about his patients. He explained everything in understandable terms and didn't judge if I asked a question. I am so happy and grateful to be his patient.

Dr. Nelson is amazing! He actually listens to what you have to say. That doesn't happen too often. He is very professional, intelligent, and cares about his patients. I could not ask for a better physician.

I am seeing Dr. Nelson after multiple other doctors including another pulmonologist could not diagnose why I am very short of breath. Dr. Nelson is extremely thorough and I am assured that my problem will be found. He is gentle, fun, kind and I could not give any doctor a better review.

Dr Kirk A Nelson is one of the finest Dr.s I have EVER had the pleasure of working with. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field among others. Anyone going to him could NOT be in better hands. I miss him. Y’all are fortunate to have him

Dr Nelson took care of my mother who was on life support and he was truly the most amazing Dr I have ever met..My mother was very sick and Dr Nelson took great care of her and he was the most compassionate and caring Dr I could have wished for.Though my mother took a turn for the worst and I was given the very difficult choice of letting her go I could have never made that decision with any other Dr.. I truly knew in my heart that Dr Nelson had done everything possible he could and because of his compation and heart felt words he gave to me on her last days made the decision bearable and I knew there was no other option..He will for ever hold a very special place in my heart and I will never forget him. He is definitely more then just an amazing Dr he is an amazing human being ..

Im on oxygen and have end stage copd. I was a patient of Dr Nelson's for 8 yrs until he mved from St. Louis. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He's a very compassionate Dr and he cares about his patients and treats them with respect.Hes helped me through some ruff times I don't think I would still be here if it wasn't for him. I was truly very fornuate to have him care for me . I do wish him the best. But if he decides to cone back to St Louis u can bet I'll be one of his patients again.

I found him to lack bedside manner. He does not know pulmonary fibrosis is until it is to late. Set up an appt 6 months away and ended up in hospital in last stage of disease and was never told that there is no cure. Needless to say my love one died in severe pain. Nurse called for him and he never returned call. Patient begged for help and dear Dr Nelson didn't have the guts to see this to the end. So if you want a doctor like this who gives wrong diagnosis and runs out at the end then this is your man. Please love yourself or love one enough to stay away from him. God bless those who do see him

This is the worst Doctor you could ever go to we had the misfortune of meeting Dr Kirk Nelson in St Louis Mo when he was my fathers doctor. He misdiagnosed my dad and then he made a biased opinion that my dad was to old and to poor for treatment. When my dad was dieing in the hospital we met another one of his patients family and he had given this man to much blood thinner and ordered a trach and the man bled to death. If you value your life or the life of your loved one I beg of you get another doctor. I guess he decided to move where he has more old patients that he can line his pockets with their deaths.
