Dr. Kiron Malhotra, MD

Did not take my concerns seriously and is biased against mental illness.

Dr. Malhotra must be anti-medication. She missed the opportunity to prescribe it to manage high blood pressure and even doubled the emergency department physician's prescribed dose. Thats right, my blood pressure was high enough to warrant an ER visit for stroke evaluation. Her demeanor is dismissive and the care she provides negligent.

Dr. Malhotra is cool. When I say cool, I mean it's like going to visit a friend that I haven't seen in a few months. She listens and remembers when she sees me the next time (things that are not in the charts). I have irregular BP problems and she is right on with my medication. She is not going to give you something that you don't need. After my pregnancy, I was extremely overweight and asked for diet pills. She looked at me and told me EAT RIGHT AND EXERCISE. She cares about your health and not the easy way out. Recommended to people that care about their bodies. Also, love her new nurse.

Changed all my medications on the first visit, which was startling since some of the meds really helped me control arthritis pain and discomfort. Does not even want me taking Ibuprofen, just ice for joint pain. Tried it her way for two weeks but sitting in a chair with my knee propped up with ice on it is not what I call living. Taking Ibuprofen now and swimming and biking. We differ over quality of life vrs quanity of life. I will be changing doctors soon. I am more comfortable with a physician who listens to my concerns and works with me. I have friends who like her but she does not meet my needs.
