Dr. Gaurav Kumar Verma, MD

My dear friend visited Dr. Verma for the first time on March 2, 2026. From the moment she arrived, she recognized that the office was extremely busy, with many elderly patients. While using the restroom in the waiting area, she observed several unattended urine samples with patients’ names clearly visible, revealing clear HIPAA violations. Dozens of samples were not refrigerated and were left in a large metal tub, representing a serious lapse in protocol. Her appointment with the physician was very brief, lasting only a couple of minutes, during which he “examined” her, adjusted her medication, but did not clearly discuss the changes. Although some documentation of the examination existed, she felt she was not truly listened to or thoroughly examined. As a result, she has decided not to return to his office, and I strongly advise others not to choose him. She also has serious concerns about Medicaid fraud. Dr. Verma does not deserve any stars!

I think Dr.Gaurav is as good as Dr. Combs,mt Dr. in Bloomington,RET.If not just a bit better. I have been a renal patient,with bilateral kidney disease,for over 30 years. I was very impressed with Dr.Guarav,the first time we met.He wasn't judgemental,as others have been,in the past. He ran many more blood tests than any other Dr. ever has.He broke down elements that I haven't ever been told about in all the years I have been seeing urologists/nephrologists. He talks WITH you,not AT you,and, he listens. I appreciate a Dr. who treats you like an adult & not a child.
