Dr. Laith Anastas Farjo, MD

"I never had the chance to get my shoulder replaced by Dr. Farjo because his staff treated me like a piece of garbage. The nurse wouldn't let my wife come by my bedside even though other patients had their wife's and husbands with them by their side. Then the nurse who put my IV in stated I was drunk. Which I haven't had a drink since being 100% medically discharged from the US Army. She threw these tight socks at me to put on. I'm not able to put socks on without my wife's help on top of getting dressed. Then Dr. Farjo assistant doctor, the one who wears the Jordans basketball shoes told me my eyes were dilated which I don't do drugs either on top of the VA hospital gives me drug screens every other month. Yes, I'm very clean never did drugs and never will. Then they went ahead and let this supposedly drunk vet drive home. Which is a 35 mile drive one way. I guess they don't care if someone is drinking and driving. I'll let Novi Police know about that. Then to top it off my patient… portals were erased. WHY??? Dr. Farjo what did I do to make you so upset at me?"

I've had two shoulder repair surgeries done by Dr. Farjo now. One was done in 2017 (80 percent tear) and the other was done recently (50 percent tear). I opted for stem cell therapy in both cases. The repairs included bone spur removal, rotator cuff, and labral repairs. I'm 53 and both shoulders feel like new at this point. to put this into better context, I workout often and with heavy weight, and I've only really had self-imposed restrictions, as well as the exclusion of certain exercises that I felt were unnecessary (military presses), given my goals. I'd recommend Dr. Farjo highly. I'm happy with the surgery and the experience I've had with his office staff.

Dr. Farjo is great at surgical repairs, I have had 5 surgeries for repairs of the elbows and shoulders and they all have gone really well and the recoveries successful. He has great "bedside" manners, is very approachable and explains everything so that it is very understandable.

Absolutely no pain management! He tells you what you should feel. Left us high and dry, did not take his oath seriously at all. Not everyone is drug seeking Farjo, after surgery people need more than ibprophen be a doctor and quit protecting yourself, or get same surgery yourself and see how you feel afterwards and have someone tell you your pain should be a 2 when it's a 7.

With all the awards Dr Farjo lives up to his reputation. I highly recommend him !

Dr. Farjo is an amazing surgeon. I had rotator cuff surgery with my own stem cells to aid in healing. This was my second rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder (he didn’t do the first one). I took pain pills on the day of the surgery then one pain pill the second night after surgery. That is all I needed. Four weeks later I was sleeping in bed with NO problems. I would not want to do it again, but if I had to I would only have Dr. Farjo do the surgery with stem cells. Novi surgical center is top notch also.

I was very impressed with my successful treatment

I'm very pleased with my recent shoulder surgery. This was my first surgery and wasn't sure how it would go. Surgery went well and movement of my arm continues to improve. Dr. Farjo is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr. Farjo for 10+ years! I am and have been a very active person. I played many sports at a very high level which now in my older years has caught up to me! Dr. Farjo has done seven surgeries on me, both elbows, both shoulders and both knees. He has kept me going with the quality of my life in mind always. All my surgeries have been very successful and has allowed me to return to the active lifestyle I am used too. I can't thank him enough!!!

Dr. Farjo is an Amazing doc his team and his front desk staff as well. Had hip surgery and was up and recovering and no more pain immediately. Thanks again and I do recommend Dr. Farjo very highly.
