Had cornea conjunctivitis as diagnosed by a diff doctor after Dr Berstein misdiagnosed me as dry eye. I had to be on a steroid. Other opthamologist couldn’t believe it. Then saw optometrist who disagreed with my prescription as given by Berstein. He barely looked in my eyes and was more interested in joking. As I was checking out he forgot my name

I highly recommend this doctor. He is very knowledgable and makes the appointments enjoyable.

Dr. Berstein is an excellent ophthalmologist who really cares about his patients. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave, everyone who works in this office is friendly, kind and caring. Dr. Berstein's bedside manner is wonderful, and his care is excellent. He spent all the time that I needed to answer my question and alleviate my concerns. He is the best!

Out teen son had a scratched cornea last year. Our pediatrician recommended Dr Berstein. He was caring and easy to talk to. Really set us at ease. Today we saw him as a family. Our three children (teens) for a full thorough exam. We have a family genetic issue which he was made aware of and was super thorough to address this and do the correct preliminary baseline testing. His staff was so great. We filled out the forms prior to our visit snd we were seen promptly. Overall a terrific experience. He will be seering us annually. Thank you all.

I adore Dr. Berstein and his staff. He is one of kindest, most caring doctors I have ever been treated by. His staff is thorough and helpful. I have called them many times for receipts to be sent for insurance claims and they have always arrived promptly. During Sandy, Dr. Berstein had all his calls routed to his personal cell phone. Yeah, that's right - what doctor do you know who would handle all his office calls personally? He fitted me into a hard to fit pair of contact lenses and worked with me through a couple of sets to find the one that I can wear on a daily basis. I met him when I had an allergic reaction in my eye and needed emergency care. Though I had never seen him before, his staff fitted me into their schedule that day. He has been my eye doctor ever since.

Dr. Larry Berstein is not only a great doctor, but a great person. He genuinely cares about his patients. It truly bothers him to make people wait, which there is often very little to no waiting time. If there is ever a little wait, it is because he is kind enough to fit people in, when they have an emergency. Even if there was a wait, he is worth it, I would wait hours for him. He doesn't overbook and spends all the time you need with him, answering any and all questions. I have even called his office, concerning a problem, and he called me back, very promptly. His staff is always very pleasant as well. He is a very personable man and makes people feel very comfortable, my whole family loves him. I wish that my other doctors would be even half as caring, smart, and attentive as Dr. B.; if only he could be my doctor for everything. I can not say enough good things about this doctor, I just adore him, and I am so grateful that I found him. I highly recommend Dr. Berstein!

His staff is rude. You wait far too long. You don't see the doctor until after you go through a battery of 8-10 different tests that no one tells you about prior. They quickly drag you from room to room to room sitting you at one machine after another until 45 minutes go by - then the doctor shows up and spends 2 minutes - you don't hear from him again until you get the bill. This is some money making operation they have going on here. He strikes me as a greedy miserly man that sucks as much money out of every visit as legally allowed. Stay away from this doctor - he cares about money not your eyes.

Great experience. Staff actually cared. Doctor Berstein was wonderful, showed concerned and knew what he was talking about. He made me feel 100% comfortable. Highly recommend!

Dr. Berstein and his staff gave a very comprehensive exam and evaluation. The doctor actually talks to you and answers all your questions in an unhurried manner. He really does seem to care about his patients.
