I am a strong believe of judging people based on how they handle the worst situations. In that context, Dr Chambers is the best doctor I have ever encountered. There are a variety of reasons people go to a doctor through their lifetimes. The worst place to be is to have a very serious health problem that you don't understand, can't explain, and how you are treated can impact your quality of life for the rest of your life. One of my family members was in a very traumatic car accident with various injuries including traumatic brain injury. This is a terrifying experience for everyone involved. In events like these, you need a patient, caring, diligent PCP that will slow down and spend time discussing the issues the are being encountered and push through needed referrals. You also need someone very smart and willing to look at the problem from various angles. I have met PCPs that don't listen to patients and think they know everything. Chambers-Kersh is not that type of doctor.… You can always count on her to listen, do her best, and if she can't help you she will find someone that can.
