Dr. Laura G Silver, DO

Dr. Silver was my doctor in 2009. The entire time I saw her, she was unfriendly and very cold in her attitude toward me. I was in severe pain on a daily basis in my abdomen and saw her frequently about this. I finally insisted on seeing a gastroenterologist who, after performing an endoscopy, told me that my stomach was in grave condition. My stomach has never healed completely and I continue to have to restrict my diet and suffer with burning pain on a daily basis. I also had a sensation of numbness, as though the circulation was cut off in my feet and shooting pains in the tops of my feet. I saw her about this 3 or 4 times and she ignored me. Once she stuck pins in my feet and I told her that they were not numb, that I felt a sensation of numbness. She did nothing. When I finally saw another doctor on an emergency basis at the Family Medicine Institute where she was employed, he immediately stated that I should see a neurologist. He sent this info back to Dr. Silver and after waiting… 3 weeks, I called to see if I was going to get a referral. She called me back and said, sarcastically, "Elaine, what do you think is wrong with you now?". I was shocked. In my opinion, she is negligent and uncaring and I would not recommend her.
