Dr. Wong has been my husbands nephrologist since he was diagnosed with kidney disease after a hospital admission a few years ago. Dr. Wong has always been kind, compassionate, honest, and willing to listen. I am the type of person who will ask all kinds of questions and have no problem asking a doctor why they recommend a certain treatment plan. Not once has Dr. Wong shown an ounce of annoyance or disregard for our questions. Also, he will admit when his knowledge comes up short and recommend sources to find the information or referrals to another doctor if needed. From conversations we have had it appears he stays on top of medical research in the field and is constantly looking to improve his patients quality of life. The office staff are also very good people and do their best to help when we have questions or concerns. We have had problems paying in the past before we had insurance and they always worked with us. So many doctors offices are unwilling to work with you and will… flat out refuse (sometimes life saving/altering) treatment over a small sum of money. We have never experienced that with Tampa Renal and would recommend anyone looking for a new nephrologist to Dr. Wong.

Dr. Wong is with Tampa Renal Physicians , with Drs. Ruiz-Ramon, Rothschild and Joseph. Very nice, and able to explain your issues and how to get or stay well.
