Dr. Lennard Glenn Herbst, MD

Dr. Herbst delivered all 3 of my children. He was supportive, attentive, empathic & kind. He did not rush my deliveries or rush me off to a C-Section the way so many hospitals and physicians do. He was an integral part of my pre-, peri- and postnatal care. I am the only person I know who can proudly say all 3 of my kiddos were delivered by the same Doctor. I was so lucky to be his patient!

I hate to have to write this review but I would be remis not to. I’ve been seeing Dr. Herbst for 3 years now his bedside manors are good and responsive to emergencies are great. However the follow-up with this office is non-existent. He literally does not follow-up with you after receiving your results even if they are abnormal. I work in healthcare so I’m familiar with the no news is good news phenomenon. But in my case it was much different. This year alone I have learned that I have two conditions which were noticeably detectable through my lab work years ago. One in appeared in my labs in 2017 and still no mention of it from Dr. Herbst or his office. I’ve been seen 3 times since then. Another incident in 2019 where my results were left unmentioned until my most recent visit in 2020. One would think he would have mentioned the 2017 condition during this recent visit where I expressed my concern for his lack of follow-up but no nothing. Instead he questions me about the matter… leaving it up to my interpretation when he’s the doctor and literally has my lab results in front of him. I write this review to encourage others to be vigilant regarding their health. know what tests are being completed. Ask questions if you see something abnormal or out of range. I will no longer be seeing Dr. Herbst as I believe he is providing a huge disservice to the community by billing people’s insurance for tests and not providing his patients with the results/interpretation.

Listens & treats me with respect. Also has a great bedside manner & sense of humor.

I really like Dr. Herbst but the front office staff is less than desirable and are rude.

My family has known Dr. H for over 30 yrs. When I became old enough to see a Dr. i chose a women Ob...but that experience was terrible so my mother finally convinced me to visit with Dr. H. His bedside manner and professionalism was top notch. He was very caring and was available to me when i needed him during an emergency. I had a stillbirth and he came to deliver my baby during a superbowl game...he was always there to answer any questions i may have had. He is the best. Since moving out of state i have miss his practice and his caring nature.

I have been a patient of Dr Herbst (and associates) since 1984. Due to out-of-state moves I have had other gyn's but always go back to this practice at the earliest opportunity. Both of my children were delivered by Dr Herbst & his former associates delivered all 3 of my siblings. So when my daughter moved to Maryland & started her family, it only made sense for her to go to Dr H. Since then I have realized that it is well worth the drive (from another state) to return to Dr H so I am once again switching back. And it gives me the opportunity to visit with family in MD. :-)

I was a patient of Dr. Herbst for 26 years. He is a prescription writer and doesn't want to address serious issues. He screamed at me over the phone basically cutting me off without seeing me in person after I provided information that he requested. I was extremely upset and should have wrote to Sinai Hospital.

I have used Dr. Herbst for years and he is outstanding. Great bedside manner and a understanding doctor. He also has a quick wit about him which I find to be pleasant. I would highly recommend him!
