Dr. Leon Hendley, MD

This is the most unprofessional, RUDE, RUDE, RUDE physician's office I have ever visited or taken my mom to visit. I cannot believe this practice stays open with the complete incompetence of both the physician and his "staff". I am guessing the staff are family because of the level of rudeness they feel comfortable with in that office. Any unrelated staff would be fired anywhere else. They cannot even send records to the new physician. I filled out the form THEY gave me to transfer records, where I had to fill in the address, fax number etc. as if they don't know how to send records to their competition. I spent 45 minutes in their office waiting for them to take back the form. When I asked how long to send the records they said Dr. Hendley would review and decide IF records would be sent. I reminded them that by LAW I am entitled to the records and they repeated that he would "Review the records and decide if to send them..." and then they called me several days later to tell… me to come pick up the records. Seriously?? I filled out their form to send records to a competent cardiologist in the area. Not for me to come pick them up. This AFTER so much nonsense that I finally made to decision to go elsewhere. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, terrible doctor, Outrageously RUDE office staff. GO ELSEWERE. Wish I could leave zero stars.

Dr. Leon Hendley listens carefully.. His exams include incorporating attention to new details I report. I know that he will do what is necessary to resolve every issue and never ignore any signs. He takes the time to explain his findings and his treatment plan. I feel totally confident that I could not get better treatment anywhere than I get from him. Since my initial visit almost ten years ago, with his guidance, all areas of my heart condition have improved dramatically.

I don't think in all my years I have ever had such a nice, joyful experience with a doctor. I would give him a 10

It's been five years since my heart attack. Dr. Leon's ability to listen, understand my situation and explain things to me has given me the confidence to get back to a normal life. I know that I can trust his guidance to keep me in the best possible position to remain positive and active. I also have confidence that he will recognize when it is necessary to implement new strategies.
