This office financially takes advantage of their patients. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITHOUT FULLY READING THEIR PAPERWORK. If your child needs care from a specialist (ortho, allergy etc) or this office refers the patient to have testing completed as part of the treatment plan, this office will charge the responsible financial party $15. When taking your child to a specialist, as a courtesy, the specialist will send this office a copy of the visit note. This office will charge the person financially responsible $15 for the receipt of this note. This is $15 any time anything related to the care of the patient is sent to the office. On top of paying this office what your insurance asks to be paid to the office (copay, co insurance, deductible). They charge the financially responsible party $15 for simply following the treatment plan that the provider at this office created for your child. They are charging the person who is financially responsible for something that the insurance also pays… for- the "review of medical records". Every insurance company pays the doctor or other qualified healthcare professional for review of any past or present medical history/records. This is included in the payment for the evaluation and management code that is billed to the insurance company by this office. It is part of the medical decision making or total time spent on the same day the provider is seeing the patient. It is good patient care for the provider to review past and current medical history/ outside testing when seeing a patient. By also charging the patient, the office is getting paid double for this. This office is also still using paper charts. This means, when you take your sick child to be seen, they give you a paper script that you have to then take to the pharmacy. Sick child at the dr, drive to pharmacy with sick child to drop off rx, drive home with sick child to wait for pharmacy to fill rx, take sick child in car again back to pharmacy to pick up prescription. In a world where this can change to help with better patient care, why has this office not changed? Yes, the reviews can say the office staff and providers are kind. But kindness masks the additional charges. They also charge for phone calls. Another thing that insurance pays for. This office needs to change. I was going to take our 3 kids to this office until they are 18. That is (at this time) at least 23 visits that this office could have billed our insurance for their preventative medicine visits. This is not including any sick visits. This office must stop charging their patients' financial responsible parties additional money. Charge for the work that the providers do, according to billing and coding guidelines. Phone calls and telemedicine visits are now more than ever able to be billed for. Review your current CPT book. Educate your providers, get an electronic EMR that can help parents keep up with their child's healthcare.

This entire practice is amazing. Only board certified doctors who truly care about your children. I also like that she only hires experienced pediatric RN's and LPN's for patient support and doesn't have us see a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner because it can save her money. She spends time with you and explains things fully. You feel like family there from the time at check in until you leave. Her billing girls are so easy to work with and kind if you need to make a payment plan. An all around great practice - I highly recommend.

I have never been to a pediatrician like Dr. Lori! She is a genuinely caring doctor and person who loves her patients like family. I wish I could rate her higher than "Highly Satisfied".

Excellent resources when you call (nurse at desk & doctors directly after hours). Excellent explanations and ample time spent in the room with my wife and I. Would recc. to anyone!

This is the best pediatric practice I have ever dealt with. I have 3 children of my own and four grandchildren so I have seen a lot of pediatricians. They do not wait 3 days to see a child who is sick and has a fever like a lot of the others. They always have time to answers your questions and give you a heads up on what to expect before the next visit. All the doctors in the practice are mothers and are giving advice from first hand experience not just a text book. I am impressed with all the doctors in this practice.
