Dr. Lori Michelle Sweitzer

I saw Dr. Sweitzer back in 2020. She told me I wasn't a good candidate for a hysterectomy because of scar tissue from previous csections. Without going into too much detail, I recently found out that she lied to me because she didn't have the skill set to perform a hysterectomy on me due to my issues. Instead of being honest and referring me to a doctor who was experienced doing hysterectomies on someone with my issues, she had me believe I was left to suffer and I ended up unknowingly doing significant damage to my bladder. I ended up being referred to a urogynecologist by my new gynecologist who performed a robotic hysterectomy on me. I ended up losing part of my bladder because I was led to believe by Dr. Sweitzer that I was too high risk for a hysterectomy so I was protecting a diseased organ that was damaging my bladder. Because of my experience with her, I just cannot recommend her as a gynecologist. She wasn't honest and she broke her oath of, "do no harm".

Dr. Lori Sweitzer is a professional yet caring doctor. She was attentive to my concerns and addressed all of my issues, providing good advice and treatment plans. I highly recommend her!

I've been going to Dr. Sweitzer for a few years. She's been great with my regular check-ups and is very attentive and caring. Her office staff is wonderful too.

Dr Sweitzer is so nice I felt comfortable right away. She listened and is helping me with my issues. Wish I would of found her earlier.

Simply put: I trust Dr. Sweitzer and her entire staff with my life and my child’s life. She makes time to truly listen, answer questions, discuss options, weigh family history, explain risks and benefits, but most importantly she lives by a phrase that goes far in my mind “no procedure should be painful on my office”. She could tell I was scared for a procedure and not only did she book me next day because she didn’t want me to continue to be uncomfortable, but I had the best experience possible day-of. She brought in staff to talk to me and hold my hand. She explained the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. Then, afterward I was walked down to my car. Care with empathy cannot be beat.

She's an amazing, caring, and thorough dr! my only complaint is that these days you can only get an appt with the NP. I dont have a problem seeing PA's & NP's but when I saw the NP twice,to be honest, I did not like her. She wasnt compassionate at all and seemed like she didnt even want to see me. She made me feel like my problems were nothing. I hope Dr. Sweitzer hires a different dr or NP that would actually be helpful.

She probably does not remember me, but she came into my postpartum room when I was bleeding heavy. She wasn’t even my doctor, but she came in and asked if she could help me. (Uh, yes please!). She threw a gown on over nice clothes and stopped my bleeding! I have never seen someone so calm, smiling and reassuring in the middle of a high stress time. Before it was all over she had me talking about who I named my daughter after. Thank you for caring and being willing to help out someone for which you had no responsibility. I’m sure it made her late for her day, but I sure am thankful that she stopped to help me.

Cancelled on me twice. The staff are unapologetic and condescending. Dr Sweitzer is attentive but that's only if you can get in to see her. I suggest you choose another doctor who isn't too busy to see you.

We met Dr Sweitzer in labor and delivery when she was the covering doctor my for daughter’s doctor. Can’t say enough about that night. We met her late on a Saturday night and she made us feel so welcomed and excited. Clearly she was tired, but she reassured my daughter that even though we were just meeting she would take care of us like one of her own patients. It was a long labor, but meeting my grandson was so worth it. Can’t thank this doctor enough for being there and guiding us, and helping my baby get through this exciting, but scary process so that she could meet her baby.

I was so scared for surgery, but Dr. Sweitzer and her staff were wonderful. Dr. Sweitzer is very easy to talk to and her scheduling coordinator made the process so easy. Once my decision to move forward was made, her scheduler verified my insurance and was able to accurately predict what I would owe. D. Sweitzer was very reassuring the day of surgery and kept a check on me afterwards. Her staff was also very accommodating to make my a post-op appointment. The office stayed open a little later that day because it was the only day and time that I could get a ride! I am back to work and can't begin to tell you how much better I feel. Thanks a million!!!!
