Dr. Lorinna H Lombardi, MD

Dr. Lombardi has been our Opthamologist for over 10 years. As her Stanford Medical School Degree would indicate, she is very bright and highly skilled. She is also a very compassionate care giver. She performed flawless cataract surgery on me in 2020...I could not be more pleased with the process, her attention and caring, and most importantly the perfect outcome. Highly recommend Dr. Lombardi!

Wish I went to her sooner, my condition wouldn't have deteriorated trying to find the correct diagnosis from other doctors.

I am a recent transplant to Portland and was looking for a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, and got a referral to Dr. Lombardi. She listened and spent time with me to learn about my situation. I really thought she cared about my eyesight and wellbeing. I would recommend her to anybody looking for an Ophthalmologist.

During my exam she was condescending and referred to a medical condition that I have my another name, which would have side effects that would have effects on my vision completely opposing to the problems that I'm having. When I told her what condition I did have (a relatively rare condition, I have doctors who don't specialize in the field ask about it fairly regularly), she literally rolled her eyes and said that she had made a mistake. She is the only person I have come across at OHSU with no bedside manner. I have other tests with other doctors pending so I don't know how accurate her diagnosis is - I'm hoping that her diagnosics skills are good, then she can just fine tune her people skills.

A title she fully deserved. She seemed to carry an overloaded schedule due to other doctors being out, but she still was very caring and professional.
