Dr. Lorne Babb, MD

Back in 2007 my husband was home sick with what I thought was the flu. I set up an appointment with Dr Babb for him. Dr Babb couldn't pin-point what was wrong with him and sent him down to N Western for test as Dr Babb knew that my husband wouldn't go in unless there was something wrong. a few hour later, my husband was in surgery. it turned out that my husband's appendix wasn't in the normal place and he didn't have the pain normally felt. his appendix had ruptured. Dr Babb's instincts were correct that something more was going on with my husband than a simple flu and he saved his life. I like his easy going personality and his treatment of the people who come to see him

Does not return phone calls to patient, patient's family or nursing home when called. Not respectful to nurses. Dr. Babb's fund of knowledge is not acceptable. He seems like he does not want to accept the gravity of the illnesses of his patients. Does not have a serious enough attitude, seems to blow things off. Cannot get good quality medical care at this office unless you are very forceful to advocate for yourself or your family. You also need to have some medical knowledge yourself to get good care. For the good of his patients, should find another profession.

It seems the first comments were supposed to discredit the doctor and nurse.

Loren Babb is will scream and yell at people one he gets the money. That Cold Hollow place is really cold and hollow. This guy has hardly knowledge of medicine and is a total fraud. The nurse Anne-Marie is really rude. She does not even know how to give vaccination. She pokes a needle like a hitting a nail and the needle will go through the bone. Don't know even is she has a license to practice. Lorne Babb is after money. That is all he cares about. He is a very intimidating and threatning. Don't how he got through med school. he is not even a graduate from US med school. He is total More On....

Dr. Babb and their staff is very rude and unprofessional. He screams and yells at people. He does not behave professionally. The Nurse Ann-Marie will poke a shot in arm like hammer. The fromt office people make fun of patients. Dr. Babb is more a Lawyer (Liar ) than a doctor. He is more well versed with the regulations than knowledge of medicine. Once he receives the money, he has "1 minute" to talk to people !! He is total fraud and scam. Never do business with him.
