Dr. Lucy A Coccimiglio, DO

I have been seeing Doctor Lucy for a number of years at the Waterford location. Its easy to get to , the office is clean and every one is very nice. I'm pleased with the care I get and like Doctor Lucy very much. I would recommend her my family & friends.

Yes, definitely would see Dr lucy again. I felt better after seeing her the first time.

Recurrent infections for years, she has been able to help to greatly reduce.

Last year during my annual physical exam, I was given names of few urologists by my general physician for a more specific test. I chose to make an appointment with Dr. Lucy for 2 reasons: 1= Being seen by a female urologist could put me at ease 2 = Having earlier appointment options as well as 2 different location options I chose to go to her Milford hill top office location, and was delighted with the beautiful scenery not normally encountered in daily life. The freshness and cleanliness of waiting room, examining room , as well as the rest-room was in quite satisfactory level. Most importantly, the ease and friendliness with which Dr. Lucy treated me had the most remarkable effect on me. I was able to stay clam during an otherwise tense examination as a first time patient. The follow-up visit for scoping was also performed in another room with spectacular view. Dr. Lucy's comments made me feel like I am being treated as a member of her family. She had the ability to put me… at ease until I was able to endure the discomfort naturally associated with such exam. Everything went well. She assured me I did not need to see her until few more years. Although, the news was good, but I came away with a feeling of missing such a caring person and her entire staff. I wish every patients such lovely and profound visits with Dr. Lucy Coccimiglio.

The only good thing about this place is how fast you can get an appointment. That should have been a big clue for me.

I was referred here by my internist. It took an hour to be called back to be seen. Then after getting back there there was so much confusion as to who was on 1st base, etc. Dr. Coccimiglio apologized it was the new way of working with patients with a computer to key everything into for each client she worked with. That was understandable. Lacking in bedside manners and an air of arrogance were 2 traits that turned me off. She sent me to the front desk to check out and had told me that I needed to have 2 tests done. When I checked out they were clueless as to what those 2 tests were. They said nothing was on the chart to indicate that tests were needed. She told me to call back later in the day as they were busy. I called back and they still were clueless. Was advised they would contact the doctor and call me back. A week went by and I CALLED THEM! They had to search for what the doctor ordered...but came back with the correct information. My followup visit...I was… seen in 15 minutes. Walked into a room that had a prep set up and it appeared they just finished a scan of someone else as there was not a good clean up done. This had me feeling very uneasy as to the sanitary conditions of this place. Ugh! I think I have found the path to finding a new urologist.

DR. Coccimiglio performed a vasectomy on me. It should have been a simple procedure, but it required numerous return visits due to the long recovery. I was in severe pain for 6 months, and moderate pain for the next 6, before finally feeling I have recovered. What was truly ridiculous was that I don't think she even believed me. After my third visit to ensure nothing had gone wrong, she was looking at me as if I was speaking a foreign language, and told me I "could take ibuprofen if I think I need it"
