Dr. Lynda Marie Bascelli, MD

as a person born with chronic autoimmune illness i've seen a LOT of Dr.s (whether I liked it or not!) As well as MentalHealthProfessionals to deal with PTSD/Bipolar, so i've gone through the gamut. Lynda Bascelli is truly one of the most learned, and is actually easier to talk to and learn from than many dedicated Psychologists despite her specialty being Addiction Medicine which is an undervalued, often misunderstood and stigmatized but necessary niche for many of us who stumble in traditional treatment despite our best efforts of months or years. Before being treated by Bascelli I encountered numerous physicians that simply were functioning no different than the opioid pill mills that Purdue Pharma invested and incentivized to push Oxycontin. The poor providers I am mentioning did the same thing with Suboxone, pushing it under the veil of clinical treatment with no actual therapy or psych-eval in place to make sure the Suboxone was being used correctly (including giving coupons and… encouraging/badgering us to fill our NAME-BRAND suboxone at incentivized pharmacies. I only bring that up so that people understand the type of comprehensive care they should be getting from a provider like Dr. Bascelli who is able to evaluate and ascertain where you are at in your journey of BECOMING RECOVERED. There are no incentives in place to "cash in" on you being a patient, they accept pretty much every (sometimes no insurance) and they are no incentive/referral rackets so you know that you are going to be Rx'd the correct amount of MAT, and once stabilized will be given a choice/chance to work towards other areas in your life you otherwise would ignore or fail at. She has the experience and credentials that she could open a LLC or other for-profit buisness of her own, but instead she cares enough about the people in her community to stay and command the Virtua MAT locations in Camden County, that should tell you something.

It is impossible to say enough kind words about Dr. Bascelli. Never met a Dr. like her in my life. I am forever grateful for the care I received from her . She really cares. dr Bascelli has been treating me for several years.. she has treated me like i am very special... never have been treated and cared for like she has with me... i love my doctor and i wish her the very best for her and her husband and children...shes a very special lady and a busy one but always has time for her patients..very kind... see u soon..
