Dr. Lynn Sommerville, MD

The "office manager" Megan is RUDE and unprofessional. She called me names and hung up on me for a simple request. The MD has no clue who is up there handling their customer service bc this girl is WILD. Called back and it was the SAME attitude and mouth. She is ugly and unprofessional. She does not need to work with the public for any reason!

Looks at the whole picture; body and mind. Spends all the time necessary to help

Ever since I've moved away from Providence I have been largely dissatisfied with every Doctor I've met. I have had top-shelf medical care by Dr. Sommerville and it has raised my expectations for others in the profession! Dr. Sommerville's bedside manner, general style of doctoring and her professionalism even at awkward or uncomfortable moments is something I very much appreciated in a general practitioner and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone.

Simply the best Doctor ever... compassionate, thorough , understanding smart competent ..the Best !!!!

I truely like Dr. Sommerville because she takes an interest in you not as a "case study" like some do, but as a person with a real issue that you need resolved. I have seen her for ~ 10 years and I don't want to think about the time when I would need to change main doctors.

She cannot handle patients who are chronically ill. Snaps at them for being sick. Not my idea of of who a good Doctor should be. If your not so sick you are the lucky one.

Dr. Sommerville is kind, professional and approachable. She actually listens to self-observations as well as complaints and works with you towards better health. Staff is exceptional too.

Sometimes the wait is long, but if you understand that ahead of time, she is well worth the wait.

I've been seeing Dr. Sommerville for many years now. She is a very caring individual and is trust worthy. She really is a top notch doctor, not to mention that she is 99.8% right on point with a lot of diagnosis. Best wishes for a new year 2011 ...
