Dr. Mahmood Mahdavi, MD

I will agree with others that he is very expensive and bills a lot for minor things. However he is good. Even though I don't like it, I will pay to see him since I know I will be taken care of. I had a serious malignant tumor that another doctor had been negligent in finding. Several surgeries, chemo and radiation later and I have been clear for 8 years and Dr. Mahdavi was there every step of the way. His surgeries were precise and I never had had any complications.

It’s great to have a doctor who spends time to listen and help. Successful surgery and continued care. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Overcharges for unnecessary procedures or procedures not done.

Would never go here again, would never recommend. Guy will look at you saying all is fine and then a month later you will get a monster bill - office staff sucks! No help at all

See others have had the same issue with this Doctor - wuill charge you and your insurance compnay a FORTUNE! This guy must charge about $1000/hour for his services becuase I could not walk in and out of his office without him submitting a $900 bill for him to spend about 10 minutes shining a snazzy flashlight down my throat - wouyld NOT recommend

HAd to report this Doctor and office for fraud and overbilling to both the insurance company and the State of CA. Office billing people will not answer questions about what services were provided and why, medical folks will not discuss billing. Billed for over $800 for post op follow visit 3 days after surgery while saying everything looked 'fine' - rude office manager would NOT recommend to family or friends

Two visits and $422 out of my pocket (besides charges to my insurance) for 10 mins total with the doctor saying 'K' 'K 'K' ... BIlls is coming a month later so that you don' t know what you will end up paying.. To me it is scum.

FIVE minutes with the doctor, and I get a bill for 2k simply for opening my mouth and saying "ahhh" and getting a prescription...I was even charged admin fees for putting my name into their system since I was a new patient...ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? absolutely horrible...tried to get me to come back week after week for follow ups...at first I didn't know, so I went to the first follow up...CHA CHING...another 1k+ bill for saying ahh...this time I was in there for less than 5 mins...

I spent no more than five minutes combined for 2 visits with this doctor. Total charges for having him look in my mouth and me say 'AHHH' (literally, this was the extent of the examination)...ready? Over $900!!!! I was charged several hundred dollars for being a new patient. This is absolutely ridiculous! It's sad when you live in times when you can't differentiate a doctor from a mechanic, and never know who is out to help you, or rob you!
