Dr. Marc Alan Michelson, MD

On may 2019 i had lasik surgery performed by dr michelson to correct my vision due to incorrect lens power used by another dr group during my cataract surgery done in 2018. even knowing that there was essentially no vision correction after the cataract surgery the dr who performed my cataract surgery said my expectations were too high. the michelson staff performed numerous eye examinations and were very careful to determine the correct eye information. dr michelson offered me two options to correct my vision and spent significant time with me. the result being i now have 20/20 vision.

First let me say his staff is amazing, but the doctor not so much. He was very short tempered with me and his colleagues. I had an infection after surgery and he was very ugly to me. I waited 3 hours to see him as did 3 others in the waiting room, one of whom was also having an issue and the other a new patient that said they were not coming back. I decided he had lost my trust and respect and needed to find another doctor to remove the cataract from the other eye. When I went to pick up my medical records he was in clinic and left me waiting again. His administrator called me back and said he wanted to speak to me “by phone” not even a face to face. No thanks. I have a new eye surgeon and feel confident about his treatment in both my eye and me as an individual. I have seen many docs over the years as I am diabetic and have been blessed with amazing physicians, but for me this was not one of them.

Dr Michaelson did cataract surgery on our 21 year old daughter. We live 4 hours away the office staff and Dr Michaelson could not have been greater! Our daughters vision is excellent now thanks to him and his staff!

He is very good and thorough. I would not want to go to any other. He has done catarac surgery and lens implants on both my eyes and they turned out great. He is watching my eyes for other possible problems.

Dr Michelson did surgery on my eye to exhange my iol and gave me better vision than I have ever had in my life..A+ doctor.

Dr Michelson is a bit shy so he can come off as arrogant but he is not at all. He is a very caring and highly skilled doctor. I had to fight my insurance to go see him because they wanted me to see someone cheaper but these are the only two eyes I have and I wouldn't let anyone else cut on them. The office staff is excellent and they have the office running so smoothly you get in and out very quickly. I highly recommend Dr Michelson.
