Dr. Marc Patrick Orlando, MD

Saw Dr Orlando this morning and was extremely impressed by his knowledge and skills. He gave me a nerve blocker injection with immediate results. Additionally, what sets him apart is his kind and caring personality. Very friendly and humble unlike many others in the field. I highly recommend Dr Orlando.

I hold physicians in high regard and respect them and all of the work they've done to obtain their positions. Having said that, I prefer having a doctor who is personable, and with whom I can interact on a at least surface social level--not just medical. In that regard, I can assure you that Dr. Orlando does a great job of blending his personality and his professionalism! However, his skill with inserting the ESI's in incomparable--so I'd still see him and recommend him if he was grumpy!

Dr. Orlando always listens to what I have to say, then makes sure I understand what the best course of action is for my situation. He is always on time, courteous, and never makes me feel rushed.

I had to go to Dr. Orlando for two procedures for my back and both times he was quick (I had needles so that was a HUGE plus) and his staff was amazing! He talked to me before the procedure to make sure I knew what he would be doing and to see if I had any questions. He never seemed rushed despite the office full of patients. Again, his staff at Mayfield was also very caring and helpful...every last one of them! Couldn't recommend a better doctor or practice.

yes, I'm a real patient and have been given ESI's from Dr O and they really help me. He takes his time..his words "I'm in no rush" to do the procedure, explains fully what is going on and is a heck of a guy. I don't understand the negative reviews, I guess it's true that people only leave a review when they complain. I'd recommend my mother to Dr O. He is great at what he does. Period.

He is slightly better than his staff. His staff was awful. All I heard was "go to mayfield" So disappointing!!! There are other doctors out there who are compassionate and will help you- trust me- I am with one. We are people who live in PAIN every day- we deserve some compassion. His staff was rude and he wasn't much better.

I could cut and paste all the poor reviews to make my review. Mayfield should really be monitoring this Dr. and PA. It appears there is not a patient advocate on staff. I have never been treated like that before by a Dr. Please beware!

This doctor very unprofessional and rude. He think that patients are trash! I came to him with pain in legs-Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I was not taking pain meds! I tried to be strong, but pain can get you very bad, so I went to this doctor who has extrimly high opinion about him self and low opinion about others( And I have 2 Master degrees!). His doctor licence must be revoked permanently. And I believe that all that positive comments were left by not real patients. DO NOT GO TO THIS Mr Orlando, you will not get help for your pain, you will shocked by his low quality treatment.

I went to Dr. Orlando for several years regarding back/leg pain. I find some of these reviews very interesting, inasmuch as the entire time I went to him, I always felt respected (but perhaps that's because it was mutual) by him and that together we were looking for the best possible solutions for my pain. Ten years ago, he recommended I try an implanted neuro-stimulator, so I did. That alleviated a great deal of pain and basically gave me back my life. Between the neuro-stimulator, losing some weight, and strengthening my back and legs through exercise, I require very little pain medicine. In any case, I never found Dr. Orlando or his staff to be anything less than kind, efficient, and most assuredly, respectful.

After experiencing low back pain for over a year I was advised by a physical therapist to see Dr. Orlando. I have worked with 4 physical therapists who have all concluded that I have SI joint dysfunction and instability in my pelvis which is causing pain in my lumbar spine. I have seen other back specialists who all refused to acknowledge that my SI joint dysfunction is the issue, because it is not evident on an MRI, however I thought that Dr. Orlando would have a different perspective, having a background in phyiscal therapy. I was extremely disappointed by him. Dr. Orlando based his assessment of me entirely on an old xray and MRI. His examination of my back and range of motion was very limited. He expressed no real interest in anything I had to say, disregarded my attempts to discuss problems that might not show up on an MRI and then suggested that my back pain was entirely in my head. Dr. Orlando may be highly regarded by his peers, but he lacks interest or compassion and I would… not recommend him to anyone.
