Dr. Barusco is an amazing professional in this field. Dr Barusco is truly one of a kind and is very thorough always during all my appointments. He takes time during the appointments to always fully understand the patient needs and never rushes the visit to make sure that all my questions are always answered. His focus is always patient-centered approach. I have been to many hair restoration clinics prior to coming to Dr Barusco and all they want to do is get you in the chair to make their money and move on to the next patient. This is not Dr. Barusco's approach at all. His staff is very helpful and responsive to get all and any… questions answered in a timely fashion. My experience during the actual procedure went extremely smooth. They are very concerned to make sure that you are comfortable throughout the entire procedure. After the procedure, Dr Barusco told me that if I needed anything or had any questions or concerns that I could reach out anytime. I had a few simple questions regarding post surgery care and he immediately responded. The procedure I received was an FUE. Dr Barusco takes great care to extract from the donor area so that it is unnoticeable and no scarring to allow my hair to be shaved without notice. The placement of the transplanted hairs is a critical art if you have ever seen someone get a "bad" transplant, and here once again Dr Barusco is a master at this critical skill being able to match and blend the hairs at the perfect angle and placement to make it a completely natural unnoticeable outcome. I saw a friend after not seeing him for a year and not telling him. When I saw him he could not believe his eyes. He was astonished and told me he would never have thought that I had a transplant because it was all so natural and looked exactly like it once had prior to thinning out. I did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions prior to coming to Dr Barusco, but once I met him and spoke with him I knew immediately that he was trustworthy, honest and highly skilled. You will not find a better doctor in this field, and I can guarantee you will be more than satisfied choosing Dr Barusco. I am truly grateful to him. I was contemplating a hair transplant. My research led me to the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) which is the leading authority on hair loss treatment and restoration. Dr. Marco Barusco is not only a member of the organization, but a Fellow. Less than 10% of the ISHRS members are Fellows. I knew I couldn’t go wrong and contacted him. Watch out for those clinics that allow technicians to do the transplants. A hair transplant is surgery. Only a surgeon experienced in hair restoration should be doing the surgery. Dr. Barusco is such a surgeon and more! He offers free virtual and personal consultations, both of which I took advantage of. I was blown away by his generosity and integrity. After examining my scalp, Dr. Barusco concluded that I was not a candidate for hair transplant. He thought I would do better on medication which he prescribed. A lot of doctors would push for surgery for financial gain. Not Dr. Barusco! His assistant, Jessica, is as wonderful and… kind as he is. I felt so welcomed and valued. When I decided to pursue hair replacement, I found a doctor in my hometown offering the procedure. After only be able to meet with his sales person, and learning that this doctor only did hair procedures occasionally, I decided to keep looking. This lead me to Dr Barusco about an hour away. I made the drive and was immediately impressed that doc himself conducted our meeting. I learned that hair replacement is all he does and was impressed with his certifications for hair. His staff was very flexible with my schedule when booking the procedure. I opted for the FUT method. The procedure itself was painless and they made me very comfortable and even had lunch ordered in from a local restaurant. I was concerned about my appearance the first week following the procedure but found that I only needed the weekend and a couple of work from home days before returning to my office. My healing was as described and within a couple of months I started to see good growth. Fast forward to… today, I'm one year out and couldn't be happier. I came to learn of Dr Barusco after researching EXPERTS in hair restoration. From the initial consult via Skype (I am on out of towner) I immediately felt comfortable. His team has been warm hearted, responsive and informative. I recently had a PRP/Stem Cell Procedure done to increase my hair quality, thickness and mass. I have combined it with LLLT. The results are too early to tell regarding the procedure itself, but I can with certainty that Dr B and his team are top notch.
