Dr. Margaret Hewitt Hoffmeyer, MD

Charged for services not performed at time of first visit. Only wrote maintenance prescriptions for short period of time, despite being told we would be out of state for 5 months. Insisted we had to come back in before she would authorize any refills....just saw her in Feb. 2019 - a little over 4 months ago. Was told by office staff that this was the policy and if I had acted responsibly I would have made sure I had all my pills prior to being out of state. Not sure how she expected me to do that as insurance dictates when you can get a refill. We will not be returning to her practice.

Makes her patient what to long. I waited 3 hours on her one day. Then when she comes in she's rude. Then told me a torn rotator cuff wasn't a big deal. And that was only my 2nd visit . Well I'm hear to tell you it is a big deal

Office is nasty. There's a stinky old dog that roams around, poops and throws up wherever. That's probably what keeps the patients sick...

Dr Hoffeyer is kind and thorough. If you need a specialist, she will refer you to one..She takes the time necessary to discuss your problem. If you are hospitalized she follows up there and works long long hours.

Wonderful physician. Has saved my life more than once. Diagnosed me, correctly, when specialist could not. LOVE HERE.

Dr Hoffmeyer has consistently kept me waiting for extended periods despite my having an appointment. The last time I went, I was one of two patients who finally left. Prior to that appointment, she was clipped and rude to me while under care in the hospital. I am leaving her practice. Also, I am appalled that she keeps a dog in her office; it roams around including in the examination rooms.

Dr. Hoffmeyer is a very caring doctor. She Takes her time with you. Will refer you if you need It. She is not pushy but will tell you what you need To have done. The wait is a little long because She gives all her patients time. Worth the wait. Thank you Dr. Hoffmeyer.

Dr.Hoffmeyer is an AMAZING, if she can't figure a health problem or illness she will referr you to another doctor. The office staff is amazing as well. If you are truely sick they will try to work you in to see Dr.Hoffmeyer although you may have to wait.
