Dr. Margaret Pendergrass Sanders, MD

If I could give zero stars I would. As a new patient I would expect a doctor to introduce themselves, address me with respect, make eye contact when waiting for my answer, and in general earn their ability to be my physician. I could list specifics, but I will spare you and tell you to keep looking for a better Doctor as I will do.

She doesn’t follow up with me on any of test results. I reached out to the office left messages and no return calls. She is direct to her point but doesn’t seem to listen to the me as her patient.

Dr. Sander’s staff was rude, uncaring and uneducated. It is no wonder when you experience the “care” of Dr. Sanders herself. She was flippant in my concerns, dismissed me constantly and was very cold. The part that was unforgivable for me was when she actively blocked me from seeing a specialist. I later quit her, my new PCP immediately referred me and wouldn’t you know, I was right and the top specialist of this kind in Nashville was shocked I had been not allowed care for my condition. I ended up needing major surgery and found pre cancerous conditions. I shudder to think what would have happened if I had not listened to myself and continued with Dr. Sanders dismissive and know it all “care”

She's very direct. Her beside manner is lacking. Her attempt at small talk seemed like it was rehearsed from a book. She didn't seem open to listening to my concerns. She ordered tests to address my concerns, but was still pretty dismissive about me even needing them. The whole interaction succeeded in discouraging me out of going through with them. I switched doctors. The new doctor reordered my tests. My original health concerns were confirmed. I followed a treatment plan and am now feeling much better about my health.

She is very kind and listens extremely well

Dr. Sanders got me in fast and she was so nice. She sincerely cares about her patients. So glad I chose her.

Having Dr. Sanders as my primary care physician was the BIGGEST MISTAKE. Always rushed through appointments. Never a correct diagnosis, and no bedside manners. Found a new doctor. DO NOT go to this doctor if your health is important to you.

I seen several doctors in my fifty plus years and Doctor Sanders is the best in many ways
