I had a very good experience. Dr. Coronel had been recommended by one of my physicians as being highly experienced and I’m glad I chose him. The facility was very nice. Dr. Chen, the anesthesiologist, was very pleasant and expertly calibrated my anesthetic so that I fell asleep within a matter of seconds. Yet, when I woke up about 15 minutes later I was actually pretty alert and awake during the trip home and for the rest of the day as well. Dr. Coronel gave me the results of my test both orally and in writing right after I woke up. I had no pain and just a little gas afterwards.

Terrific Doctor, staff and office. Appointments run on time. Doctor Coronel is very attentive, interactive and informative when discussing your condition or concerns. He Clearly outlines best course of action and is proactive in scheduling and implementing agreed treatment plans. Highly recommend his medical practice!

I have nothing but good things to day about Dr. Coronel and his staff. Dr. Coronel is compassionate, informative, took his time discussing my issues, listens very well, and he is professional. The colonoscopy was a breeze. Both his Riverhead and the Endoscopy Center staff were helpful, sweet, and professional. If I need to see a Gastroenterologist again, I will definitely go back to Dr. Coronel.

I would highly recommend Dr. Coronel and his team to anyone. I had my first endoscopy and was extremely nervous. They took the time to make me feel comfortable and more relaxed. They were very professional and the entire office was very clean.

Dr. Coronel and his staff are the best! They treat you with the utmost dignity and respect and make me feel like I matter and they care about their patients.

First off, I have had severe crohns disease for over 30 years. I was with several doctors in the beginning that had me miss diagnosed and were treating me for the wrong disease. I found a doctor that treated me for my crohns but he was the kind of doctor that rushed you out of the office as fast as he could. When i had surgeries for my crohns he wouldn't even consult with my surgeon. He just didn't care. I finally found Mark Coronel and the difference is like night and day. He is a great doctor and a great person. He actually listens and more importantly he knows what he is doing. And because he is the person he is, he hires the same types of people to work in his office. Loren and Stacie make me feel like family every time i go. They are two of the nicest people i know and go out of there way to do there job. Dr. Coronel and his staff should be the standard by which all health care professionals should be judged. When i retire and move out of state, i will stay with them.
