Dr. Mark Douglas Hoffmann, MD

Though I seldom write reviews, I really want to share my positive experience with Dr. Mark Hoffman. Dr. Hoffmann has been my physician for more than ten years and I can’t say enough good things about him and the staff at PeaceHealth. Dr. Hoffmann is always professional, patient and friendly at appointments. Even though the clinic is busy, he never seems rushed and is very thorough during exams. He takes the time to hear my concerns, fully explains any health issues that arise, and reminds me of any routine screenings or testing that might be needed. He explains and makes sure that I understand treatment options, gives me printed material with additional information to take home, and asks whether I have any other questions or concerns. After appointments, the PeaceHealth staff takes care of any needed insurance billings, referrals, prescriptions, and future appointments. The entire care team makes me feel like my healthcare is in good hands! Dr. Hoffmann also has taken the time… to help me with medical documentation related to a workplace accommodation, as well as an adoption. I see a specialist in another clinic and Dr. Hoffmann makes sure that information is shared and that my care is coordinated between the clinics. It’s very apparent that Dr. Hoffmann is not only a knowledgeable and effective physician, but also a genuinely kind and empathetic person that truly cares about his patients. I highly, highly recommend him.

Mark Hoffman is is magnificent.(he is my husband’s Doctor and my husband is 100% happy with him). Dr. Hoffman and his entire staff are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He always takes the time to explain what is going on. I never feel rushed and he always makes me feel like he cares. He has compassion and knows what he's doing. Although Mark Hoffman is my husbands primary Doctor, I also see him from time to time when my doctor is not available and I highly recommend him, not only for his knowledge, but for this thoroughness and expertise. Plus, he's really friendly and easy to talk to.

He's been my PCP for at least the last 5 years. He always comes across seeing a bit overly busy & frantic, but he's genuine and warm. He's willing to listen, doesn't pretend to know everything, but has a strong medical toolbox he pulls from. I feel very confident with his medical abilities, diagnosis and experience. I'd fully recommend Dr. Hoffmann or his wife Kelly who's a rockstar in her own right, too!
