Dr. Mark Joseph Lyons, DO

After 12 years of going to this doctor I decided it was time to get out. He started off good then went downhill like a train wreck. Specialists and tests were enough. Scheduled 7 in the same week and this became a routine after every visit. My anxiety went through the roof. Constantly increasing dosages on my potassium pills. My family was telling me to get away from that place after he sent me to a specialist because he said I had MS!!. Bottom line - changed doctors three months ago after he said I needed a cardiologist and had severe headaches. First appointment with new doctor. Heartbeat was all over the place, pressure was super high and causing those horrible headaches. Potassium levels were twice the normal limit. Now this new doctor is fighting with Lyons office for my records. Called them myself and still haven't sent them.

Great Doctor but has very rude and ignorant staff that works and answers the phone for him.

Doesn't spend enough time with his patients. I've been with him for over 15 years. Spend to much time in the waiting room, sometimes for more than an hr. There's been times when I called a prescription in and had to keep calling back to see if they had called it in. I just think he has to many patients!

I HAVE GONE TO DR LYONS FOR CLOSE TO 10 YEARS. HE SEEMS TO KNOW ME LIKE A BOOK, BECAUSE HE PAYS ATTENTION WHEN I SPEAK. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TALKS TO ME NOT DOWN TO ME. THE GIRLS IN HIS OFFICE ARE JUST DELIGHTFUL AND ARE ALL ABOUT HELPING YOU WHEN YOU CALL. COULDN'T ASK FOR A BETTER BUNCH OF PEOPLE TO DEPEND ON FOR YOUR HEALTH.

A patient for over 7 years, over this time everything that made him a great doctor vanished. He doubles, many times triple books appointments, so if you do show up you wait over 30 minutes in the waiting area, then up to 45 minutes in the room. He spends less than 10 minutes with you and either prescribes some form of RX or passes you off to a specialist. Average waiting time now for a regular routine exam is over 4 months. After 7 years, I'm getting a new doctor. I wouldn't recommend him for anyone.
