Dr. Mark Jeffrey Jo, MD

I went to Mark Jo because the doctor that I wanted to see wasn't available. The receptionist suggested Mark Jo since he had availabilities. I took the appointment because I wanted to be seen as soon as possible but I quickly learned why he was available. The appointment was rushed and he didn't listen to my concerns. He didn't even inspect or touch my injury; he only looked at the X-Ray on the computer screen. I requested an MRI and a prescription for physical therapy, and he just didn't want to do it. He said MRIs aren't helpful and that I didn't need physical therapy. I insisted on the MRI because I wanted peace of mind. He replied that getting an MRI for peace of mind was "stupid." Can you imagine that? A doctor telling you that peace of mind is stupid? I went to a better doctor and the first thing he did was request an MRI and gave me a prescription for PT. I'm so glad I switched If you want peace of mind, don't go to this doctor because he clearly doesn't value it.

I had knee surgery from Dr. Mark Jo. He did a fantastic job. I had torn my quadriceps from jumping off the back of my truck. I had lost all my strength and stability in that leg. Following the surgery I had no pain at all. I never took any of the Narcotic pain killers he prescribed for m. Dr. Jo operated on me and put me in a temporary knee immobilizer brace. I was very pleased that he allowed me to walk and put my full weight on the bad leg with the brace. The brace was not too bad. Very light and comfortable to sleep in. He told me I would likely need to wear it for a month. After 10 days from the surgery, I came in they the nurse removed my sutures. Dr. Jo came in and told me I no longer needed to wear the brace and I could start stretching it out. I walked out of there without my brace or needing my cane. If I ever need another surgery I hope Dr. Jo can do it for me. He is great and so is his nursing team.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Jo for a few years, he has performed surgery on both knees, one a ruptured patellar tendon, and the other a menisectomy, both went very well, no issues. Him and his staff are excellent
