Dr. Mark Daniel Vanpoppel, MD

I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Van Poppel as my neurologist. He is kind, caring, intelligent, and patient; and explains things to me in a way that I can fully understand them.

Dr. Van popper is excellent at what he does. He provided immediate care and attention when I was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors.

First Dr vanpoppel’s nurse came to the waiting room to let me know my appt would be a few minutes late as the Dr was called in for an emergency surgery that morning. I was very appreciative of being informed and not just sitting there waiting to be called. When Dr. Vanpoppel was back to the office he saw me within an about 30 mins or so which was fine since I was made aware of the circumstances. He did not rush the appt . He took his time explaining all the findings of my MRI. He did his exam and then showed the MIR pictures and explained each one in terms I could understand. He made me feel very comfortable and confident in being in his care. As it turned out what they found was not something I had to worry about which was great news, but at the same time he made me feel like it was important to him to make it clear to me what to be aware of and to be sure to contact them if anything was a concern to me. I left the office knowing that he would be the Doctor I would call if I was… ever in need of a neurologist again.

Dr. Vanpoppel is one of the best physicians I've ever seen! His knowledge, professional and empathy for his patients is top tier! He took the time to listen to me carefully, then he gave his medical opinion. He did not rush through our visit, which made me feel so much better. I wish there were more physicians like him in the world we live in today! I would highly recommend Dr. Vanpoppel to anyone in need!

He talk to me not at me . He took the time to listen to what I had say about my daily activities. He had questions about me and how I was doing with everything. He made me feel comfortable with explaining myself and my differences.

On my initial consultation regarding a brain tumor, I could not have been treated with better care from the front desk to the end of my visit. Dr. Vanpoppel was so caring and professional I would recommend him to anyone.

Misdiagnosed and performed unnecessary surgery on husband. Didn't catch cancer/spread.
