Dr. Mary Y Sheu, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Sheu to anyone looking for the ultimate cosmetic dermatologist! Dr. Sheu treated me at the Johns Hopkins Cosmetic Center at Green Spring Station, MD. She performed many cosmetic procedures including Botox, Fraxel, Microneedling, Medlite, and IPL with great skill, attention to detail, and consistently excellent results. Dr. Sheu also went above and beyond during a time when most dermatology offices were closed to expertly remove a suspicious lesion, for which I will be eternally grateful. Dr. Sheu recently moved to the west coast where I have no doubt she will continue to provide outstanding care. Her knowledge, skills, and kindness will be greatly missed!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the dermatologist Dr. Mary Sheu. I was lucky to become a patient of a doctor who combined high-level expertise and professionalism with the qualities of a decent, caring person. In my case - she saved me from the progression of skin cancer. Years ago I made overseas travel plans, but two weeks before the flight I had an appointment with Dr. Sheu that had been scheduled prior. Unfortunately, it turned out I had cancer that required surgery on my cheek. All the arrangements she made quickly, my surgery was a success, and I didn’t have to alter my travel plans! I could not believe it! Since then, my doctor has been monitoring my skin condition very closely. Dr. Sheu is absolutely amazing! She was always attentive at the appointments, would not miss a thing, and knows my birthmarks and age spots better than I do. There would always be a follow up and she would check on how I felt after procedures. Any prescription from Dr. Sheu… have been well thought out and coordinated with my general health condition. And her beauty tips - so good! I have Fraxel procedures done by Dr. Sheu on a regular basis. These procedures smooth my skin and make cosmetic products work more effectively. I also like how Dr. Sheu improves the volume of my skin by infusing Restylane into my face; afterwards it looks natural and younger. I am 66 years old and a grandmother, but when it comes to getting a senior citizen discount, they think I am much younger and ask for my ID! I am also a regular attendee of “A Woman’s Journey” conference/program, as Dr. Sheu usually is a speaker at these events. It is always interesting to hear about the latest news in dermatology and she knows it all! I am really upset that my doctor is leaving for California following her husband’s promotion. In my opinion, it is a loss not only for me and other patients, but also for the Cosmetic Center of Johns Hopkins Hospital where she is a director. Although, a professional like Dr. Mary Sheu would be such a great find for patients over there. Excellent Dermatologist! Dr. Sheu listens to my concerns and does not rush me out of the office. She has identified skin cancers and I was able to have them removed without difficulty. Her area of expertise is cosmetic procedures. Her gently touch and the ability to naturally sculpt your face to look younger is incredible. People tell me I look "rested" and fresh, not what procedure did you have done. She is exceptional at doing the cosmetic procedure as well as identifying what it is you need. Nice combination!

Dr. Sheu is a phenomenal cosmetic dermatologist! She has an artists eye and extreme precision- always knowing the exact amount and location for fillers for the most natural looking results. I highly recommend her for a beautiful, undetectable look!

Dr. Mary Sheu is a kind, friendly and careful physician. She made me feel at ease, answered all of my questions and did a fantastic job during my procedure. She is gentle in her approach and offers clear advice while achieving a natural effect. I would highly recommend Dr. Sheu!

Dr. Mary Sheu is very efficient and kind. I had a spider angioma that I'd been worried about for months, not knowing what it was, and in two sessions and a total of about 5 minutes she got rid of it. She also reassured me, which made me feel safe, and probably led to faster healing. Her assistant was also very kind and helpful, and he recommended a daily sunscreen that doesn't hurt my eyes.

Had Botox and filler with Dr. Sheu- love the results! Very natural, not "overdone", I just look younger and less tired
