Dr. Maryann Lucyk Millar, MD

Dear EVERYONE who is looking for a FANTASTIC OBGYN MD. . . I choose Dr. Millar. I have been with her practice for approximately 10 years and I've had nothing but EXCELLENT care. Dr. Millar has proven many times to go above and beyond at all times. I have had many GYN issues and REALLY needed her expertise, support, and individualized care for all of them. I am horrified at these one-star reviews but noticed they are time related issues from most patients. I have noticed most of her five-star reviews are from her patient's that won't go anywhere else. I do find these reviews sad to merited on time related issues and would like to personally apologize to those patients if they had to wait on behalf of my time with Dr. Millar. Dr. Millar has taken the extra time when needed and medically necessary as she does with all her patients. However, if issues are over timing vs competent, excellent, and thorough care. . . I do suggest you have you GYN exam, endometrial biopsy's, D&C,… hysteroscopy, salpingohystogram, etc on your iphone as it will be on time. Moreover, when you are misdiagnosed. . . I think the iphone will give you all the compassion you will need. Otherwise, I suggest going to the Best - Dr. Millar. Most importantly to all be happy and be safe! Take Care!

As someone with an extremely high pain/discomfort tolerance, I was shocked by how rough Dr. Millar was with me during my exam. She caused me pain that I had never experienced with other gynos, and seemed unconcerned when I voiced my discomfort. Terrible bedside manner, uncaring, and unhelpful. Find a better doctor elsewhere.

I have been extremely pleased with the awesome care I have been given by Dr. Millar over the past 9 years. She is knowledgeable, personable, intelligent and understanding. You can trust she knows what she is doing and will provide you with excellent care and treatment.

Dr Millar is the worst of obgyn’s I have seen. I lost my baby after 40 weeks( Full term healthy pregnancy) because of her negligence and over confidence. She has least concern for her patients. Instead of feeling sorry for what she did, she was sarcastic with the mom in the labor room after knowing the fact. She has no respect or commitment towards her work.

Dr Millar is exceptional. She spends the time necessary to answer my questions and discuss my concerns. I never feel rushed and feel like we are on "equal footing." Our relationship over the years has been one of the most positive in my doctor/patient experience. It's been that way since the day I first met her. She is exceedingly easy to talk to and exudes warmth. I trust that Dr. Millar always has my physical health as her top priority. She is a "gift that keeps giving."

Dr. Millar is an amazing doctor. Yes, there is typically a wait for appointments. However, I always got called back throughout my pregnancy and each time i ended up in the hospital she was there. I asked the hospital to call her when they wanted to induce me and she returned early from a weekend away to deliver my son. She was very informative and talked me through everything. I also loved the staff at her office. I cannot say enough good things about her!

Dr.Milliar is extremely thorough. She makes sure each patient is treated as an important individual not just a number. She is always around to see you in short notice situations which is great for a pregnant patient who worries. If she is for some reason unavailable she will make sure you know the on call doc who can answer any questions or issues that come up. She's an amazing doctor who has been with me thru surgeries and 2 pregnancies. I wouldn't choose anyone else. Her staff is also wonderful!!!!! They are cheerful, kind and always make sure each patient is well taken care of. Even the receptionist who really does a large amount of work but is always smiling, organized and makes sure every patient is happy.

I saw Dr. Millar after getting a Bad/wrong diagnosis with my PCP. I was very freaked out and Dr. Millar was able to calm me down and explain everything to me. So very thankful I came to this office. Highly Recommended! I will be continuing all my gyn care with her and hopefully one day my OB care. Office staff was very helpful and nice.

Rude, abrupt, unfamiliar with my medical history even after seeing her for over 5 years. Scares patients by over exaggerating negative information, up to two hours late if your lucky. Terrible bed side manner, shows less than zero compation. Don't waste your time trying to get an apointment as she has no reservations about wasting your time making you wait. 3 thumbs down.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE HER. She does not take questions very well. Has no patience to answer them and when she does she is quick and unclear. During my pregnancy she told me a couple of times I needed to read more about it and educate myself. Well I thought I could ask my OBGY a few questions but she has no time because she is always running! The waiting time is at least on hour. I've been with her with for a few years because I lived just a few minutes away and always had hope that next time I wouldn't have to wait so much and get so frustrated because she would only spend in average 5 minutes with me. I don't think an expectant mother ( or anyone else) should wait an hour or more to be seen. That's why you make an appointment. Think about waiting for this long with your child if you can't have a baby sitter that day? It happened to me during second pregnancy. They are also terrible about calling with test results even when they are not good. You have to call! I were to… find out a problem weeks after the results were ready because they forgot to call me!! She is cold, rude and only care about getting more and more patients. Quantity and not quality. I AM DONE WITH HER!
